Tyler was thrown into confusion on what to do at the moment. Should he hand over the love of his life back to her parents or does he sacrifice the life of his best friend on the altar of their love. He looked at Avura who was ready to continue fighting and at his best friend who was gradually lossing the fight in him. Tyler thought for some time about what he was about to say. Before today he had made up his mind to tell them the truth but now it was becoming a difficult task for him to do. An earlier cm conversation with Marcel also was making it difficult for him to take that decision.

" if you drop the position of being alpha, know fully well you won't have a say in the decision they will take about the fate of Princess Avura. You won't even have rbe powers to protect her. But if you decide to keep this a secret you won't need to fight those internal battles " Marcel has suggested to him

Tyler knew he was right but then he was not one to lie to people who trust him with their lives. Second an occasion may arise when he would need to tap into his powers and won't be able to do it thereby disgracing himself hence he felt there was a need to tell the pack about it at the slightest opportunity.
