He isn't in town, staying with his parents until he is back again to cause some problems. This is the house he stays in most of the time, as it's close to the alpha. He has other houses as well, for example, the huge property he hosted on his birthday turned into a public humiliation.
But this house is connected to the pack, closer and he is more attached to it, from what I can see. There are framed pictures of him on the mantel, clothes strewn on the floor and his scent is so heavy, I gag a little.
I am aware of how dark and obsessive this all is. After all, I just left my mate whose mother is in a coma at the hospital to come and stalk his ex.
I walk around slowly, taking everything in, from the kitchen to the bathrooms, the study to the living room. It's a three-bedroom house, and I save the best for last.
