Testing patience

"I..... How- how do I know this? why are you mad? and why are you asking me this go and ask Leo instead!"

"I asked him tho!"

And once again Loren was out of her mind, Did Leo tell Alexander everything and Alexander was just here to confirm or hear the story of Loren's side

Tilting her head to the side Loren thought for a second before speaking again

"And what he told you?"

Hearing Loren's words Alexander already knew that something was fishy as Loren doesn't really behave that way and here His evil mind took the place and he decided to play along

"What do you think?"

"Don't play with me! just speak already"

A smirk on Alexander's face which Loren wanted to smack away from his face. there she was also aware of what Alexander was doing but the fear was still there

"Me? it's you who should speak here!"

"And what if I won't tell you huh?!"

Not a single conversation can be normal between these two. they were the perfect example of siblings who always fight even when they can talk normally

Alexander was still playing with his elder sister and the enjoyment he was having to seek her annoyed face was on another level. he spoke again trying to look normal but the intentions behind his words were all out in the show

Whereas Loren already had enough of his words and this behavior. not having anything to say as she couldn't think of anything at the moment as she just made a lame excuse which looked kind of like a question to Alexander

"Are you afraid to tell me? is it that serious?"

"Stop this all and tell me what Leo told you!!"

Loren was making Alexander suspicious with her every word, is this that serious that Loren was afraid to tell and this much

She was being doubtful from the moment she stepped into the house. Alexander thought for some seconds seriously before ending his playfulness and spoke seriously this time

"He didn't tell me anything... he told me to ask you!"

"But.. Why me?!"

Loren was out of her mind now, she wasn't expecting this at all and what exactly was she supposed to say, being out of control she just asked one thing again. why her? and that's what Alexander didn't know

It's all because of Leo. his words were enough to them all so confused with everything

"That's what I should ask you! why did he tell me to ask you? what do you know that I don't know!"

A deep sigh left Loren's lips as she closed her eyes in annoyance. Nothing was helping her to calm down but a sudden thought came in her mind

*I guess you are going to have a very very very bad day today... don't ask why but just telling you*

These words that Leo spoke before leaving Loren's office suddenly came into her mind and she shot her eyes open

Was this the reason Leo said all of that? that he made Alexander question his own sister

"I Don't... Know... Anything! got it and now don't ask me again! if there was something to tell you I would have already done!"

Loren gazed at Alexander sharply before firmly speaking her every word, even tho she knew everything about why Leo left two years ago but she wasn't in the condition to tell Alexander anything

And even if she was in the condition she would never tell her own doings to Alexander, She didn't want anyone to look down at her

"And I.. Don't.. trust you! got it! I know that you know a lot, you know everything but you're just not telling me right!"

But at the end of the day, Alexander was her brother, if she doesn't trust him why would he

Alexander looked back at his sister with the same sharp eyes as his gray orbs stare directly into Loren's eyes. he was 100% sure that Loren knew everything but she wasn't uttering it, his words made Loren more furious

"I'm saying this last time! Don't interfere in my business!"

Speaking again Loren showed her index finger to Alexander, warning her to stay out of her business and stop disturbing her by asking such questions

But her words sounded hilarious to Alexander as a loud chuckle left his mouth before he shook his head as if he can't with a joke that Loren just cracked

"What? stay out of your business? as if you do the same with my business??!!"

Alexander spoke mockingly and laughed a little.

He was not wrong in any way as whatever happens in Alexander's life the first person to take interest in is always Loren

Whereas Loren rolled her eyes knowing Alexander wasn't wrong, he was just telling facts and it's something that Loren can't deny

She always gets in his business even if the thing doesn't have any concern with her

"I'm not in the mood of talking to you! let's just not talk right now"

Getting up from the couch Loren spoke uninterested while Alexander smiled at her knowing it's was an argument that Alexander has already won because just gave up in the middle

Nodding his head a little as she saw Loren going back towards her room and there she was out of his sights now

Alexander just let it be. he didn't force Loren more to speak the truth, However, the question he asked was still there as Loren didn't answer

Getting up from the couch Alexander also walked towards the stairs, going up back in his room he closed the door and was about to go take a shower when his phone started ringing getting his attention

Pulling out his phone from his pocket as he stared at the screen. the number looked a little familiar but wasn't saved on his phone

Not knowing who he or she was he picked up the call just to hear a familiar voice of a man

"Hello?"

"Lucas?"
