Haunted house?

"Stop asking so many questions! I know what I'm doing and this is the best for you both! got it... and now.... now we are almost near my house so just keep your mouth shut and let me drive peacefully!"

"Go to HELL!!!"

Lucas was getting annoyed as Amelia was sucking up his brain, he already had enough of her and now the most he could do was just shush her, whereas Amelia wanted to kick him and punch him in the face but she knew that's just something she wanted and that's not gonna happen, turning her face back to the window she looked outside at the dark river

When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy

But Amelia didn't feel the river moving not inside her or in front of her, everything looked dark under that night sky. the only light shown was by the half-moon or coming from the jeep other than that everything was dark and scary

Five minutes more and here they are, the jeep parked in front of an abandoned odd house looking miserable, Amelia got down from the jeep with her jaw-dropping to the ground

Lucas also got down as he walked towards the entrance without uttering a word, not feeling any presence beside or behind him he turned back just to see that girl standing there all blank

Her eyebrows raised her jaw dropped while she didn't blink her eyes even once she was just staring at that old house. which looked kinda hunted and scary from outside

"Stop staring, my house will get scared!"

Lucas cracked a joke and laughed at his own joke getting Amelia's attention who didn't move an inch not even got annoyed by his lame joke, taking some slow steps further as she gulp down her saliva while Lucas was laughing looking at her horrified face

"Come on hurry up! or I'll leave you here alone!"

"Nah Nah I'm coming!!!"

As soon as Lucas spoke, Amelia started running towards him and stood there holding his hand as she showed an awkward smile, Lucas didn't know she was a scaredy-cat, this was new for him

"Ok come inside now!"

"Huh? yeah yeah"

Stepping inwards Lucas stood inside that dark house. no lights were on and Amelia was already scared and now the darkness of that house was eating her, she stepped inside with her eyes squeezed closed still holding on to Lucas's hand, she was so scared

"You can open your eyes now!"

"Huh? Thank God!"

Amelia sighed in relief as soon as she opened her eyes just to see some brightness, Lucas turned on the lights as he understood that maybe Amelia was scared of darkness and yes he got it right she was scared of darkness

"Oh my God, this place is doomed badly! how would we gonna live here? how could you think I'll live here! are you out of your mind you useless brain you-"

Amelia runs her sight everywhere and her jaw drops once again, she wasn't scared this time but she was hella mad looking at the condition of that house and that's where Lucas thought she would live

"Shhh, the spirits would get disturbed by your voice"

She was talking non-stop in a loud voice when Lucas suddenly shushed her making up some unreal scenarios trying to make already scared Amelia more scared but no he was wrong.

"You think I'll fall for your lame jokes?! if you don't know I have- AHH!"

"AHHH, YAH YOU SCARED ME!!"

"Shhh!"

Amelia was again shouting when suddenly a loud voice as if something broke echoed there, making her terrified as she panicked and scream in full of fear

Lucas also scream hearing that horror sound along with Amelia's scream Amelia shushed him as she pushed him towards the wall putts her hand on his mouth

"So?!... is this house really haunted?"

"Oh sorry"

Amelia spoke with horror in her voice, her eyes showed that she was really frightened right now.

she spoke trying to get the answer but Lucas who had his mouth blocked by her hand, couldn't answer.

Telling her with his eye to free his month. Amelia pulled her hand back as she also backed away from him and stood straight before saying sorry, finally, Lucas was able to speak so he did

"I don't know... when I lived here, there was nothing hunted but now.... it doesn't look the same as before"

"If you're trying to scare me, then congratulations! you really accomplished your mission"

"Yes miss, we... we just got to know"

"Please cut yourself off, I don't want my hands in dirt throwing trash like you out"

Loren cut the call off, this was the second bad news she was getting today, with the first one she threw her phone out, not even 6 hours has passed and she had a brand new phone in her hands

She got a call from a man who was following Alexander everywhere and he told Loren about Amelia and Lucas's missing news, that was the worst she could expect right now and here it was happening, all of her hard work, the brain she used behind everything was useless now, she didn't know where Amelia disappeared

She got furious again but keeping her calm this time she told the person on the other side that he was fired in a very decent way yet her words held the fire inside, everything was getting more and more difficult and confusing and on top of that, her every plan was failing, she was the most disappointed in her for the first time in her life

She isn't someone who would let anyone win in front of her and accept her defeat in any way, she will get back on her feet and fight for what she wants until her last breath
