Chapter one

                    They say when you love your feel nervous, your knees weaken but for me, all you feel is calmness. My people have been at war for decades, countless  dead, widowed,  orphaned  and sole survivors, what an deverstating era for the witches, years wasted with hatred and blood spilled on the earth which we take our pride from because we are the earth it's self we are the balance that have been made. There are beings  faster, stronger and we bring  the balance to it all, and we have establish that one's more after years wasted.

     My favourite place to hang around is a garden that was cultivated by the previous witch queen, which was now mine to care of as her successor. She was the best queen I've known and neglecting the fact that she could not bare a child of her own with her husband, she decided to take me in as her own, she trained me to be the  definition of a true lady who have class and strong so that I can't be intimidated by anybody, and smart to take the role as her successor and her only heir. She prepared me to become the magnificent  leader I am now for my clan and I will forever be grateful for that.

     It's been thirty  years since the war ended between the witches and things were not still perfect till date but definitely have improved. At least the clans can see eye to eye on some matters on the figuring a way forward for a lasting peace between  the witches. A meeting for all leaders of the four clans  was held annually to further aid the peace because we need to be united  if need arise from  any other supernatural  brings out there.

       I am the crowned queen of my clan not just because I was taken in my the previous queen but I was chosen by the water spirits. Before queen Arin died she shows me to undergo the rituals to be crowned the best queen of the water clan and after her death the water goddess was ready to find its new ruler. It's not just about being chosen by the previous ruler but the water have to also choose you. The ritual is to last for seven days and if the said person survive that period that means the person is now worthy of the thrown.

       On the first day, I was to go into the zubo cave to collect a blue crystal which was guarded by the four headed dog. It was not an all that easy challenge because it has to do with a person physical ability, magic could not work in  the cave. It took me about five hours before I could get a blue crystal from the cave   which was going to be the gem placed on my staff.

          The second challenge done is the presentation of the successor to the water spirits, the person have to be accepted by the spirits which will form a bond between the successor  and the land. The ritual is done by the successor spending twenty four hours at the holy cave which was covered by a spring. If the spirit accommodate your presence you will be allowed to pass the water falling down that covers  the entrance of the cave and if the spirit accepts you, you will be allowed to leave the cave. My own second day ritual went smoothly, the beauty of the cave was the most spectacular  thing to experience. The cave had little stones that lit up the whole place and have this calmness that could not be explained.  

        On the third day of my ritual I was faced with a dillema when I saw a guy at forest injured and on unconscious, so I did the reasonable thing to take him to my house so I can heal him. After attending to his wound I went to my ritual. The third day is to feast on a sacred aquatic being that was presented to me by the charman. I was to eat the brains which will give me wisdom, the heart which will make me pure, the lungs and gills which signifies oneness with the spirit.

         On the fourth day, was a blessing ritual where by the people are expected to bring gifts and say words of blessings for me to be a great ruler. Every member of the clan presented gifts  of different kinds. From herbs to cloaks and many others . After the ritual was done I hurried home to check on my patient who was still on a coma. It must be because of the trauma he might have faced because his wounds are healing up extremely well.

The fifth ritual is the fattening room where by all kinds of food will be available to make me add up some weight and be healthy. I was to stay in the fattening room for two days so I told a friend to check up on my Mr strange. The sixth ritual is to be done in the fattening room by the female elders which will check my purity. That will be very easy because most male find my aura intimidating so I had no experience in that aspect.
