Chapter 18: Dat Glow up Tho XD
Miku after the pain subsides feels that her body has undergone a large change as not only did her sight line change but her body is thrumming with energy. Looking at her new body Miku notices multiple things manly she is now slightly taller than in her past life.
The next thing she notices is her exoskeleton is now a Dark Grey almost close to black and it looks and feels sturdy like she could take the charge of a boar head-on and barely feel it.
But the most Shocking changes happened to her claws and tail which now look insanely sharp and pointy with a shiny black gleam to them. As well as inside as she could now feel like she had gained a second smaller heart in her chest.
Feeling that Miku decides to check her stats and see what has changed while also looking to see if she could learn anything about her new skill as well. Meanwhile, the sounds of critters return to the area as most of them were scared off by the harpy.

Miku after looking over her stats looks at the skill window trying to figure out how Basic mana control works. " Hmm, well I knew the system wouldn't be helpful but I was hoping for something."
Miku then decides to try to feel how it works by sitting down and slowly relaxing and without realizing it enters a sort of minor meditative state. As she sits there however the new second heart-like thing in her chest slowly feels like it's pulling something invisible from the surroundings.
Just then Miku gets snapped out of this state when the Mana crystal is filled to the top and then a prompt shows up * New skill acquired Meditative State.*
Miku blinks before sighing. " I cannot believe my eyes, how the hell did I end up getting two skills almost back to back and it took me the entire morning just to learn one, something fishy is going on I don't like it."
Miku slowly stands up brushing the leaves that had floated down onto her as she meditated before scanning the area with her thermal vision and minor night vision.
She sees that the clearing that she is in has quite a few bones that she probably should have noticed if she was paying better attention to the ground. "Oh boy I need to get used to living in a forest because I keep ending up in sticky situations due to my lack of knowledge and experience.
Miku then tries to feel the new energy flowing throughout her body. Though it takes a while she eventually feels the mana properly and almost instinctively she tries to move said mana to her claws causing something Miku wasn't expecting.
Surrounding Miku's Claws is a glow similar to what happened with the harpy, thinking it might be the same thing she flicks her wrist trying to throw claws nothing happens as the glow stays outlining her claws.
Miku thinks about it for a bit before trying to do what feels right and almost instantly she gets the feeling of clawing something." Hmm maybe that's it is it like a buff of sorts." She then tries to claw at a nearby tree and as her glowing claws reach it they start to go through it with little to no resistance.
Shocked at the ease with which her claws cut through the trunk Miku begins to hear a creaking coming from the tree as it starts to lean to one side ever so slowly. Noticing this just in time she quickly darts away 40ft behind it as it begins to fall down.
Giggling slightly Miku thinks to herself." TIMBER!!!!" as the rather massive tree falls away from her crushing branches and other smaller trees in its way before landing with a booming thud that echoes in the dark night.
Miku then slinks off into the shadows barely making a sound while watching the surroundings scared that she might have alerted something to her location due to the noise.
