The Inheritors Part 15

They all entered the Genosha Royal Palace.

Not before Riri sets up a group of Legion Sentinels to monitor and control the Inheritors, in case they want to escape while they're talking.

Once that was done, the others could go to the great hall to listen to the Ancient One's explanation.

The Inheritors who had been left alone thought this was an opportunity to escape.

But sensing their intentions, a Sentinel touched Daemos's head, who was horrified to feel his energy leave his body.

He quickly shrank back and did not dare to do anything.

The Sentinel realized that he was no longer resisting so it no longer attacked him.

Twins Bora and Brix broke out in a cold sweat as their older brother was getting weaker.

They realized that Sentinel had the ability to absorb their life energy.

That made them wonder if they had met their race before and from their research that Sentinel was born.

But they quickly dismissed that idea, since the way they were treated they had never come into contact with their race.

But even knowing that, the things they saw on this Earth disturbed them and gave them a bad premonition.

The three Inheritors only had curses for this fucking Earth.

Because it really literally opened up his worldview of how the universe can kick you where it hurts the most.

In the Great Hall

Once everyone was settled, the Ancient One told everyone what she had told Alex earlier.

And everyone present was shocked by this new information.

And most of them looked at the two twins in Alex's arms.

"I understand that, but what does it have to do with those invaders that Natasha's group captured?" Wanda asked.

"Well, that's because Alex got his first enhancements from what those kids gave them their Spider abilities. And the twins being his children, they inherited that and those beings are an ancient clan that is cursed and their only mission is feed on the life energy of humans blessed with animal abilities, and the ones they want the most are the Spiders" the Ancient One answered calmly.

The people in the place frown as things are getting troublesome.

Seeing their expressions, the Ancient One continues her explanation.

"The Spider-Totems hold a very important position in the multiverse as they are related to the Web of Life and Destiny and that energy is what the Inheritors desire, and Alex's children at birth developed a connection to that place, so you must be prepared"

The most surprised are the arachnid trio since they did not expect to be so important in the multiverse.

Alex frowns, he's not too surprised since he thought this could happen at the time he got the Spider abilities.

But now, with his children involved, he will exterminate that annoying clan.

"I see, I understand the situation very well. Now I really want to get into those guys' heads and find out what their plans are" Wanda said with a reddish glow in her eyes that showed her anger and sent chills to everyone present.

But they did not blame her for her mood since as the children's mother, she was worried.

Natasha, Lorna, Elizabeth, Riri, Laura and Emma agreed with Wanda's words since in the future, when they have their children or are born, they would not want a great threat around their children.

If Alex heard their thoughts, he would break out in a cold sweat, since it was one thing for Natasha, Emma, Lorna and Elizabeth to think that way, but for Riri and Laura to do so too, it would worry him a bit, especially when they were still too young to think about children.

"Well, with that said, you should already know what to do to face those enemies, but be careful, behind them there is a being of great powers and although it is currently sealed, it will do everything possible to fulfill its purpose" the Ancient One advised preparing to leave.

"Are you leaving? Did you only come to inform us about that, don't you plan to give us a hand?" Alex asked as he raised his eyebrow, seeing that the Ancient One was about to leave.

"Yes, this information was something that would be useful to you and besides, I have work to do since the arrival of the Inheritors does not only affect your group. The continuous trips between realities create space ruptures that many dimensional creatures take advantage of to cross and cause chaos in Earth, that's why I have to go take care of it and I can't give you my help" the Ancient One answered as she created a portal.

Alex nods his head in understanding and says no more.

"Don't worry, I am very confident that you will be able to solve it without problems and come out victorious" the Ancient One said as she disappeared through the portal.

Seeing her departure, most of them fall silent.

"So what's our next move? I'm still a bit lost because my brain couldn't process the information about cosmic dimensional beings" Clint Barton commented looking at those present.

"For the moment let's extract all the necessary information from the minds of those guys, with that we will have an idea of what we can do to face them" Emma said.

Hearing her words, all those present agreed as they only superficially knew that clan from the information provided by the Ancient One.

If they wanted to know their abilities, their habits and their place of origin, they had to look for it themselves and since those three guys are in their hands, it was a way to put them to good use and not just to take up space.

With that in mind, they all left the great hall and went to where the Inheritors were still being watched by the Sentinels.

Upon arrival, Emma, Wanda, and Elizabeth went ahead and approached each of the Inheritors to get information from their minds.

Once they did that, the counterattack would begin.
