Silver Surfer Part 12

Fury, Captain and I were the only ones to enter the place where we were holding Silver Surfer prisoner.

The others decided to see the interrogation through the surveillance cameras in the next room.

Upon entering the room, we saw an awake Silver Surfer looking inexpressively to us.

I noticed that Silver Surfer was following me with his gaze from the moment I entered the room.

Before Fury asked him a question, Silver Surfer says:

"You are making an error by keeping me on your planet, if you really want to protect your planet you must get me away from it"

"If what you say is true, then explain to us" Captain Said.

Looking at us silent for a few seconds, Silver Surfer says:

"The one I serve is a cosmic entity with great power, his only purpose in this universe is to devour worlds since according to him, it is to maintain order in the universe"

"What's his name?" Fury asked.

"It is known by many names, but the most common is Galactus the Devourer of Worlds" Silver Surfer said.

"I see... Then why did you say that to save our planet we must expel you from it?" Captain asked.

"I'm the guide, using the power that Galactus gave me, I travel looking for planets from which he will feed. He follows my trace, so if you want to save your planet, you must expel me to space" Silver Surfer said.

Confused, Captain asks:

"Why do you tell us all this and you help us, Galactus is your boss, isn't it?"

"Before meeting Galactus, I had a family, a home, but all that ended when Galactus devoured my planet"

We remain silent for a few seconds and I ask him:

"How long do we have until Galactus arrives?"

"No more than half a day"

At the end of the interrogation, we leave the place.

We all meet in the Helicarrier control room.

"So that's what he said" Reed murmured after listening to what Silver Surfer told us in the interrogation.

"Poor man, I feel sorry for him. Working for the man who took him everything" Wanda Said.

"But you know... we don't need to send man to space, we just need to get rid of that board" Banner said.

Everyone turns their eyes to Banner for an explanation.

"What our friend means is that we discover that the board is the source of energy and powers of our prisoner. So I deduce from what he told us, it also works as a guide for Galactus" Tony said as he calmly ate a hamburger.

All in the place understood what Tony said.

"Then we have to prepare to send the board to the space" I said.

Just when we got up from our seats, we heard a strong explosion that made the Helicarrier tremble.

"We're under attack, sir!" Maria Hill said to Fury

"Check the damage and keep the Helicarrier in the air" Fury said to her.

Maria Hill nods and takes command of the Helicarrier.

We decided to see what was going on.
