Marauders Part 6

Alex Wayne POV

When I was going to try to open the door, it opens by itself.

"Looks like they were already waiting for us" Wanda said.

"Then let's go in and don't make them wait" I tell them.

Nodding their heads everyone agreed.

Upon entering we see a large corridor, at the end of it there is a door. Entering through that door we come to a kind of storage room that is immensely large.

Looking at the place we hear a voice that says:

"They really came, it seems that they are not afraid of death"

"HAHAHA you're right Scalphunter, they are idiots" a cheerful Scrambler said.

We look in the direction the voices are coming from and there is a group of people that I can only assume are the team called the Marauders.

"Long time no see you Alex Wayne and you too, violent girl" one person from that group said.

Focusing on the person who spoke, I recognize him.

It's Sabretooth.

"Oh, it's you kitty, what happened to your spotty friend?" I asked him.

Sabretooth grits his teeth in anger.

Before he spoke, I interrupted him by asking:

"Where's Nathaniel Essex?"

"You don't need to know, after all this place will be your grave" Paris Bennett said as he released psychic pressure affecting his surroundings.

With an indifferent look I say:

"Is that so? Then..."

With terrifying speed I approach Paris Bennett, with my right fist I break his psychic pressure and punch him in the face. Paris Bennett didn't have time to defend himself and he was thrown against the wall of the building.

The other Marauders are shocked since they couldn't react against my speed.

By the time they reacted, Paris Bennett had already hit the wall.

Ignoring their surprise, I finish saying:

"...I'm going to defeat you and get the answers I want"

Paris Bennett stands up from the rubble and with a look full of anger says:

"Kill them"

Sabretooth lunges at me. Deflecting his fist, I slam him to the ground.

Riptide begins to spin at high speed throwing a large number of daggers.

I leap to the side to avoid his daggers.

Before the daggers stab where I had been, they stop in midair and move against Prism.

Surprised Prism jumps back to dodge the daggers.

The Marauders stare at the culprit.

"Don't forget we're here too" Polaris said as she controls the daggers to attack the Marauders.
