Inhumans Part 11

Looking at her, I ask:

"Are you Mutants?"

When I asked that question, she tensed for a second but quickly calmed down.

"No, I'm a superhuman" she answered.

"And why were they chasing you?" Mantis asked her.

"It was just because of a family problem" Crystalia answered vaguely.

Seeing that she doesn't want to continue answering on that subject, we don't ask any more.

"Well, then take care of yourself and stay out of trouble" I said to her.

She just nods her head.

Seeing that she wasn't leaving, I know she expects us to go first.

Not caring about her presence, I decide to open a portal to return to Genosha.

When I open the portal, Crystalia's eyes widen in shock.

On the other side of the portal, we can see Irene, Illyana and the twins. Looks like they decided to wait for us.

The girls are the first to go through it.

Just as I was about to follow them, I heard Crystalia ask me:

"Who really are you?"

I stop and with a smile, I say:

"I am Alex Wayne, the Governor of Genosha"

She is stunned but quickly recovers and I hear her murmur saying:

"What a coincidence"

I raise my eyebrow curious at what she mumbled.

Before I could ask her, a little hesitantly she asks:

"Can I go to Genosha?"

That surprises me. From what I've heard in her fight, I know she's running away from an arranged marriage.

But in the comics she made it to New York, not Genosha.

It seems that Genosha's current stability is well regarded by Crystalia.

Leaving that aside, I don't know if it's a good idea for her to go to our country, since because of the situation in which we met her, we won't be well seen by the Inhuman royalty.

But seeing how eager she is for my answer, I can only accept it.

"Okay, follow me" I answered and crossed through the portal.

She hesitated for a moment, but quickly followed me.

When Crystalia finished stepping through the portal, I quickly closed it.

Leaving behind four unconscious people buried in snow.

Seeing us arrive, the girls are surprised.

I know why.

Since I brought a stowaway with us.

Darcy walks over to Jane and in a small whisper, which I can hear, she says:

"Look at this guy, he goes out for a walk for a while and he brings a beauty with him, do you think he will make her part of his harem?"

"Shut up Darcy, or he'll hear you" Jane whispered to her.

My face twitches at their conversation.

"You know, I can hear you both"

Jane looked embarrassed, but Darcy just gave me a smile.
