Chapter 14

Hina's crew had spotted a fancy looking ship at their area of patrol. At first glance one would think it belonged to a big shot noble in same island, but when she spotted only two crew man on the ship.

"Hina says there are suspicious." 

Her Navy ship moved over to the crew, but when she called out to the two crew members, the Scorpio just drifted like it was a ghost ship. 

"They... ignored Hina." She muttered in disbelief, but she had confirmed that there was no pirate flag on the ship, "Hina says let them go."

She didn't want to bother with ordinary sailors who are out there to die. Two people sailing alone in the Grand Line was nothing but suicidal and if they cause trouble in Alabasta Crocodile would take care of them.

"Lady Hina we spotted pirate ships!" A marine shouted as he rushed over to the front of the Navy ship, "There seems to be going towards Alabasta!" 

"Hina asks should we go to in Alabasta?"

Soon the marine added, "Captain Smoker's crew is reported to land on Alabasta soon and Sir Crocodile has taken care of the pirates there, the King said so himself."

"Hina wonders why Smoker is Alabasta?"

"Lady Hina, he seems to be looking for a pirate named Monkey D. Luffy with a bounty of 30 Million berries on his head."

"Monkey D. Luffy? Hina has never heard of him." The Marine captain took out the cigarette in her mouth, and took in some fresh air.

"Ah... That is because he just entered the Grand Line."

"Hina thinks Smoker is crazy." The pink haired lady walks slowly over to the rest of the crew, "Hina says take care of the pirates."

"Yes! Lady Hina!"

"Hmm... Hina wonders if something big will happen in the desert kingdom."

A day later, the Scorpio finally reached the port of the desert kingdom, and Ace had finally woken up from his sleep.

"You slept like a log, I for one thought you were dead in there." Kisame sarcastically say, he had changed into red middle Eastern clothes with long sleeves.

"I am not one to die easily." Ace cracked his body that felt stiff from all the sleeping, "Anyway, thanks for looking after Striker for me."

"Our pleasure." Kisame hides his smile in his clothes, 'If Deidara and Sasori were here they would be loving this. This place just looks like the hidden sand village and the most disadvantageous place for my jutsu... That said I still hold the bigger advantage. I wonder if there is someone with the same abilities as the one tailed Jinchuriki."

"....."

Itachi could some what tell his friends thoughts. He had confirmed through Ace that Devil fruit users do contain chakra in their bodies.

Although the amount is small it would still make Kisame able to recover part of his last chakra through samehada.

'He must have sensed the few drops of chakra in the air.' Even without using his sharingan Itachi could tell that something was blocking the rain from falling in Alabasta.

His sharigan finally activated, "Huh"

He could see Alabatsa covered by a sandy fog. Small drops of dirt were scattered in the air around the Desert Kingdom. Normal people couldn't possibly see such a thing but he was an Uchiha.

'Is there someone with the same abilities as the one tails here?... Could it be Crocodile?'

Ace smiled looking at Itachi who almost wore similar clothes to Kisame but his were colored sky blue and he was holding a white umbrella.

"As thanks for letting me sleep, why don't I buy you two some food it is the least I can do."

Before Itachi could deny, Kisame jumped to answer, "Oh my, that would be great. We can't possibly refuse a treat from the Fire Fist Ace."

'This men.'

Ace could tell there were dangerous just by looking at them alone. Itachi didn't seem much older than him and he could tell he had zero experience as a pirate, but his insight was amazing.

Kisame on the other hand was talkative, but knew were the boundaries lay. A sarcastic person who would cause you a mental breakdown from his words in a fight.

'Their devil fruits are weird, more like Luffy's.'

The trio got out of Scorpio and were greeted by the hot desert weather. If Itachi didn't have his heat resistant umbrella then he would have already fainted.

"Who is this person you are looking for with such cold eyes, Ace?" Kisame asked, he wasn't really interested in the issue.

The man of fire took a deep breath, thinking about the issue made him angry, and even the silent Uchiha looked at him with the corner of his eye.

"His name is Black Beard."

Kisame suddenly smiles, "Black Beard, huh? Did he kill your lover or something?"

"He did the unforgivable... Killing a member of the same crew."

"...."

"...."

The former Akatsuki members stayed silent, they too had did the unforgivable of slaughtering their own comrades. Compared to them Black Beard seamed kind.

There might have done it to protect the village and the orders of Kages, but there was no pure justification for what they had done. Murder is murder at the end of the day.

"Your story reminds me about a certain man from the Leaf who slaughtered his whole clan and left only his young brother."

Itachi continued walking and looked at Kisame at the corner of the eye.

Ace didn't voice out anything because if a chance of saving Luffy arrives he is willing to do anything, even burn down Gol D. Rogers grave.
