Aine: The Main Character

Aine, an 18-year-old girl who ended up in a world deprived of its Sun. With no memories of her past, she seeks answers in this desolate and dreary existence and maybe finds things worth cherishing amidst the chaos. But first, she must survived. With the help of some warm friends, they gave Aine a chance to live "My name is Samuel Tensho, let me tell you a story about a world plunged into stygian darkness, a world both dark in light and dark in heart, and a girl who has been unfortunate enough to be placed in such a rotten world. This is her world—a world from the depths of her trauma and corrupted mind. Watch as she traverses this hopeless world with no recollection of her past."

An Interlude with Tensho

Hello again, and congrats on making it this far. I've got the cookies and tea right here; please enjoy them. You've made it to the third act of "The Main Character," a.k.a., the final chapters of this novel. From here on, the story will take on a drastic change in both genre and pacing. The Aine you got to know thus far, you can forget her. You can forget about Abaddon and Daegal. You can forget about Martha, Paxton, and Fabblestable. They don't matter anymore.

You may be thinking, right now, that I'm a terribly fucked person, and you would be right. You might think that I'm a disgusting piece of shit with a repugnant imagination, to which you are also correct. You might also be thinking that I probably should be locked up somewhere desolate with no contact with society, which, although a bit overboard, is correct to some extent.

But, fret not; I have yet to empty my magazine. I still have some bullets in my revolver, locked and loaded, and ready to fire. So, before I destroy what credibility I have left, please take this chance to take a break. Get a breather; maybe sleep on the story you have consumed thus far before you take on the next few chapters.

Take it slow; read at your own pace. There is no rush; time is plentiful. I will be right here, awaiting your return, to tell you a piece of my mind. But if you do decide to continue right here, right now, I have no right to stop you. After all, we are humans, capable of making wise decisions, capable of complex thoughts, and capable of free will.

Anyway, that is all from yours truly, Tensho, for now. I will see you at the end of the journey, when all is said and done. Until then, I bid you farewell. Or for those who will stop reading here for whatever reason, then I wish you safe travels. Stay safe out there; our world can be more macabre than fiction sometimes.
