Traitor Revealed
They all held their breath as Marcus answered the call.
"Hello, who's this?"
Marcus acted like he does not know who was calling. It is only Camilla who knows this number, thus he is sure she's the one calling.
"This is me, Camilla. I'm sorry I can't remember anything last time, I was too drunk. I hope I did not make such a fool of myself."
She giggled flirtatiously, sending shivers down Aila's spine. She knows her husband is just doing this to track Camilla down, but still it feels weird hearing her husband talks to another woman like this.
"Hmm, no, not really. Don't worry about it. You just said you want me and my number, then you passed out."
Marcus giggled, making Camilla think that he is interested in her too. He was such a good voice actor that Aila was sure that if she did not know what her husband was up too, she would think it was real.
"I was glad that I was able to get your number even in my drunken state."
