"Good morning girlfriend!" Aila was too enthusiastic for that morning call, Reese felt something was off.

"Hmm… what is this morning call for?"

"Why are you so stingy in the morning?"

"I know you that well…"

"hahaha… Well, remember the Loki I asked you about?"

"Ahh yeah, the stalker? What about him?"

"He's not a stalker, well… apparently he is the hot mystery guy I told you about."

"What? For real?" Reese can't fully comprehend the coincidences that had happened, but she would not want to investigate it openly.

"I know right? What are the chances…" Aila's voice was still happy and Reese could not afford to rob her of that happiness just yet.

"What's his name?"

"Yhuan Lardizabal."

"Yhuan?"

"Do you know him?" Aila was curious.

"Yes, he is that guy we usually encounter in the grandstand."

"How did you know? I mean we can't clearly see his face whenever we were there."

"Do you remember there was a time when we saw that guy with another girl? I know that girl…"

"Is she his girlfriend?" Aila remembers that day because she saw them, the girl was crying when they arrived.

"At that time, I know she is, but I'm not sure if they are still together now."

"Okay, I guess I have to ask him that later."

"Later? What do you mean?" Reese was so intrigued by the fast-paced romance her best friend had just been caught in.

Aila and Reese met at the bus stop and they went to school together. It's just seven in the morning and the queue is already too long. Nevertheless, Aila would not use her princess card in this situation even if she owns the school.

"Oh no, girlfriend, will you be okay here alone? The enrollment for my course is on the other side of the building."

"No problem girl, don't worry too much about me."

"How can I not?" Reese was still more than just a friend; she's an undercover security staff of the princess.

"Chill, I'll call you if anything happens."

"Okay, don't forget to update me about anything okay?"

Reese left Aila with a glare to make her comply with her. Aila smiled at her overprotective friend.

Suddenly someone handed her a bottle of juice and cookies from behind her.

"You might starve in the queue." Vince was smiling sweetly to Aila.

"Oh Vince you will also be enrolled here?" Aila was surprised to see Vince again after high school graduation.

"Yes, I will be studying here too; I will major in public administration, how about you?"

"Same, we have the same major."

Hearing that answer from Aila, Vince looked like he won the lottery.

"I hope we get in the same classes."

"Really? Aren't you fed up with me? I would feel sorry for you if you get stuck with me again."

Vince's eyebrows furrowed.

"Why feel sorry for me? It is a great blessing if I can be with you every day again"

"I never imagined you were this such a sweet talker"

"I can only talk sweet to you, but everything I tell you is true..."

Aila blushed because of Vince's words, she was trying to dismiss his sincerity, but the truth is she felt his genuineness straight through her heart.

"Ehem … Aila, I hope I didn't bother you and Vince... Anyway, I just want to introduce you to my friend here."

It's Lyn, and beside her is the guy Aila pertained as the mystery guy.

Yhuan, was wearing a cap, loose hoodie jacket, and pants, opposite Vince's fashion style and form which was quite formal.

"Aila, this is Yhuan; Yhuan, this is Aila"

Yhuan held out his hand to Aila to shake her hands, he also handed Aila the bouquet of white roses he was holding.

"Aila, I gave your number to him, I hope you are not mad. My friend here is really shy, he is too shy to approach you himself."

Lyn laughed at Yhuan whose face was crimson-red. Then she left immediately after introducing the two.

"Are you going to enroll here bro? Please fall in line, you cut in here."

Vince was obviously rude to Yhuan, which was totally out of his character as Aila has known him for the past year.

"No, I'm not enrolling here dude, I've already enrolled in another university. I just want to accompany this gorgeous young lady in the queue."

Yhuan confidently smiled at Aila, as if his shy persona earlier had already vanished.

Yhuan faced the people behind them and bowed as he declared his intentions.

"Hi everyone, my name is Yhuan please don't worry, I am not trying to cut in line, I am just here trying to woo this amazing woman here. I promise I won't cut in line."

"Hey! Yhuan, stop, it's embarrassing"

Aila grabbed Yhuan's arm and pulled him back beside her.

"Wow! You're quite fast, I like it how you're holding me right now... I will remember this day until I die."

Aila quickly let go of Yhuan's arm while she was so flushed from his joke. Yhuan noticed the awkward stare from Vince.

"Is it really okay for me to stay here with you?" Yhuan asked Aila.

"Yes." Aila

"No." Vince

Aila and Vince answered simultaneously; Vince looked down as he felt embarrassed.

"Bro, I was not asking about your opinion." Yhuan confronted Vince.

"Please don't fight here, it's okay for both of you to be here with me today."

The two guys instantly calmed down, not wanting to annoy Aila furthermore.

After enrollment, Aila called Reese and told her that if she can go ahead first because she's not feeling well.

"I'll send you to your home Aila." Yhuan volunteered.

"No bro, I have a car and I know her house… I can bring her to her home." Vince insisted with a slight tone of arrogance.

Yhuan looked sternly at Vince because of his haughtiness.

"What? Do you have a car?" Finally the arrogance in Vince's voice overflowed.

Yhuan looked down, feeling belittled by the new foe he just met.

"No need, I can go home by myself." Aila left the two guys.

"This is your fault! I can send her home safely and comfortably and you know you can't. Why don't just let it go."

"I can't bro; I waited so long to have the courage to talk to her."

Yhuan was still looking down at the harsh reality Vince was throwing at him.

"Know your place; you are aware you can't offer her anything."

"Bro, are you judging her as a materialistic woman? I know she looks at people beyond what they have."

Vince did not mean everything he just said, he was just trying to eliminate a competitor by destroying his ego.

"I like her bro; I am willing to prove my worth to her." Yhuan's tone was serious.

At the corner of the building, Reese was there observing Vince and Yhuan.

"Hello, Do you have the information about Yhuan already?"

"Yes, please come to the headquarters, you won't believe what we discovered about him"
