Kayla groaned in pain as she rolled around on the ground several times. She quickly turned around, watching as Ren and Luan were trapped in an ice igloo. A smile came to her face.
Her plan had worked!
Today's fight hadn't been extensively planned, so Kayla had been feeling somewhat insecure when they first started fighting. But from what she had just seen, everything had gone perfectly.
Every single step of the plan they created in the half hour they waited for Luan, although it didn't go exactly as they had hoped, was accomplished! Resulting in the current situation.

At that moment, Altarf, who was currently closest to Kayla, appeared and pulled Kayla along as she began to run.
She had seen out of the corner of her eye all the mana that the rusty cube had absorbed from Ren, so she knew that the explosion would not be small.
