Thick silence settled between all three of them after Ethan's words.
No one spoke, and Vanessa, didn't know what to quite make of this situation.
Why was he here, and why did he have to arrive at a moment like this. She didn't know.
"Well?" He prompted, waiting for an answer and Vanessa sighed.
"That's none of your business Ethan," Vanessa spat, quickly becoming irritated at the sight of him.
"Because last I checked, we're currently in the process of a divorce, or didn't you get the message?"
The sarcasm in her voice annoyed Ethan and in seconds, he had sauntered forward and gripped her wrist harshly.
"Answer the fucking question, Vanessa."
Vanessa winced at the tight grip and tried to free herself, but his hold was firm and didn't give an inch.
"Let me go," She demanded.
"Not until you answer me." He glared daggers at her.
