Keqing

Standing silently at the top of Qingyun Peak, she who watches over Liyue's people is the Alioth of the big dipper. Looking over above the karst, above the clouds and everything else is a girl with hair as smooth as silk. Yet deep in her amethyst eyes is a will unable to be moved by anything. She fixed her hair that's blown by the wind. I took another step to the peak, watching over the evening Liyue sky with her. "Beautiful, isn't it?" I stuttered, surprised to see her break the silence.

The evening sun above the clouds and the Jueyun Karst is indeed beautiful. I was stunned by her deep gaze into the sky. "Something troubling you?" I shooked my head. She put her hands at her back and look at me, "If you feel strongly about something, you should speak up and take action" She takes a deep breath from the clear air, and she whispered, "That goes for me too."

She doesn't want to look me in the eye; She keeps looking into the distance, I have known her for some time now, she can speak anything to her heart content even if it hurt others. But today there is something she is holding back from me. "Say Aether, after you find your sister, you will return to your world, right? Many will miss you; after all, you have done so much, and Liyue still needs you."

At first, I was thinking about returning too, many times I have grown tired from adventuring, but now I look at her and realize that I have more reason to stay here after all. "Liyue has changed a lot with you around; I feel I have grown immensely from my travels with you. If one day, I finally manage to make my dreams a reality, I wonder, will you still be there by my side?"

Her last sentence bites me right in the chest. "To be honest, I am afraid if one day you will leave me, it seems I have put so much faith in you, I don't know what will I do if one day you left. If I didn't say this and you left, then it's all will be too late; I just don't know anymore" Her irresistible charm flows with her tears; I wipe them and assures her that at least until she achieved her new Liyue, I will not leave. I do have fallen for her since the first time I met her.

She finally looks at me, her eyes reflect the orange light from the sky, and she holds my hands earnestly, I was surprised, but I try to keep my hardest to stay calm. The clouds are rising to our feet, and the wind shakes her little cat odango. "Aether, We've been on our fair share of adventures together, haven't we? The more time we spend together, the more I felt self-conscious around you. After long contemplation, I have come to realize that I love you"

I took a step back, surprised. How could she say it with such a straight face, not even the slightest stutter, but her feet shows otherwise. Even in the end, she tries her best to keep her strong image. She releases my hands and once again looks at the sun getting closer to the horizon. "You know why I like you? It's because you don't believe something just because a god said it.

You make up your mind. You ask the questions everyone else is too cowardly to ask, and by the end, you stay by my side until now" I never saw this side of her. She holds her breath to avoid getting embarrassed, but her face is just too cute. I giggled at her and embrace her cheek.

She looks shocked, but I hug her very tightly. "I love you too, not as the Liyue Qixing but as Keqing, you changed me" she always encourages me; it wasn't she nor Liyue who needs me. I need her to show me the right path; she holds me tightly, "I am glad you feel the same way as I do because even if you don't, I will surely make you fell for me"

She gives her severe usual smile which may be the reason I fell in love with her in the first place, her skin feels so as soft and sweet as glaze lily. There is no way I want to leave her; her cute side and her serious side are both precious to me and I can't hold it any longer. The evening sky has turned into starry clouds as I slowly pushed her down, "Please be gentle," And the stars once again wrapping the skies for just the two of us tonight.
