Aegis mulled over the information the two fallen gave them as they rested in their spacious hotel room, for small-town as Kuoh to have such VIP room in hotels where even parties with tens of people could happen, or orgies as Aegis could see multiple surfaces that were developed with sex in mind, he thought it was probably working of some supernatural as this town was home of two important devils, and even before this was supposed to by home of some Cleria Belial who was assassinated...

Still, Aegis threw a glance at the two fallen whose wings were already hidden as they looked no different from humans, albeit more beautiful, still Remnant was full of beauties, so Aegis didn't truly react to them...

"Such an interesting world this is, isn't it?"

Krull asked as Aegis nodded, finding the entire situation both funny and strange, for humanity being seen as...

Aegis stopped himself there, he knew it were the voices in his head that screamed in rage after they all heard the fallen words, how humanity was being preyed on, nothing more than little defenseless cattle, for fallen, devils, and many supernaturals using their titles as master's of cities like Kuoh to live in abundance, taking any human woman or man they like no matter the age as the fallen said that to old ones the age of humans just spiced things, no matter how young or old the humans they took were...

Aegis knew they spoke the truth, he could see it in their eyes and their hearts that hammered with fear for their lives as they spilled any dirt or secret they knew, Aegis knew that Kuoh was probably one of the safest places for humans outside of Church reach, and even in Church Aegis knew was something rotten, as it was being led by humans, and no matter how bad the supernaturals are, Aegis knew humans could be and were much worse...

Still, the Human world, or realm, was some kind of neutral ground the factions used as some kind of buffer between themselves, but that still didn't stop individuals from doing as they pleased, and with their memory magic, Aegis knew very well that the number of atrocities was enormous, and worse was that nobody knew as even families whose daughter could by rapped and eaten probably were made to forget they ever had some daughter...

"Still, that doesn't change much... Tell me, what are your friend's plans? And to who their allegiance belongs to?"

Aegis asked the fallen women who straightened their back in instinct once they knew they were called out...

"I- We are in Raynare group, we we were asked to look for Sacred gears and monitor them."

"Monitor?"

Krull and then Neo said as both of them looked at fallen who became quiet and again paled.

"We- we were given additional orders."

Said Mittelt as she trembled little, and Aegis suddenly had a flashback of another girl with black hair and emerald eyes who quivered before him, and even if this fallen was probably much older than him, and done so many unspeakable things, Aegis stood up and moved to the blonde-haired girl who flinched as his hand moved to her, but before she could scream Aegis hand fell on her head...

"There is nothing to worry about, I will do as I said, as long as you help me, I will let you hide behind my back, no matter who comes after you, that is my word, and my word is the law."

Aegis said with a smile as he felt the Mittelt relax a little even if she still held her guard, not fully believing him, as Aegis head moved to the side as he looked at the blue-haired woman.

"That counts for you too, Kalawarner, even if they would want to punish you for spilling your secrets to me, all you need is to hide behind me as I will take care of it."

Aegis said these two women, even if not his family or friends, told him much he needed to know, and even if they did it from fear for their lives, it didn't change the fact that they were helpful to Aegis, and Aegis rewarded people who were helpful to him, no matter from what race they came or what sins they have done...

"So tell me, and bear in mind that I will protect you if you wish to, what were these other orders, and who gave them to you?"

Aegis once again asked, as this time Mittelt seemed to be braver as she spoke.

"W-we were to eliminate sacred gear ho-holder in Kuoh, a-and we are to take one f-from some excommunicated nun..."

Aegis asked, a little surprised as he knew that ripping away sacred gear was very complicated and hard work even for him, even if it seemed he had done it with ease, it was because Aegis had ironclad control of his magic...

Mittelt muttered as Aegis hand moved away from her head, making Mittelt feel strangely empty as she missed the hand already...

"I see, yes that would be much easier, wouldn't it?"

Aegis muttered, letting users survive the withdrawal of sacred gear that was so tied to their souls was extremely hard, but if they didn't care for the holder, then the process would be much easier...

"Tell me, when does this nun should arrive, and where is the place your friends reside?"

Aegis asked as he could clearly see the fallen fighting in their minds, as loyalty to their people fought with their survival instincts...

Ultimately logic won...

"Abandoned church, our base is in an abandoned church on the border of town..."

Kalawarner said as Aegis nodded his head in thanks, his hand moved back to spent-looking Mittelt, whose eyes widened, but her body relaxed once again as the guild seemed to evaporate from their betrayal...

"Krull, Neo, Neopolitan, if you wish, you can go play with them, but bring me back the fallen and anything interesting you find."

Aegis said as he could see joy rise in Neo's eyes, Neopolitan just nodded, but Aegis could feel her emotions that screamed FUN, and Krull just put on a predatory grin, all these talks making her a little bored.

"And what about the humans?"

Krull asked, and Aegis looked back at fall.

"Tell me, do these ex-exorcists join your faction voluntarily, and do they know of what are they doing?"

"I- yes, they did, and they do know of our orders and plans..."

Kalawarner said as Mittelt nodded her head.

"I see..."

Aegis said as he looked at Krull, who when she saw his eyes, savagery smiled.

"Kill them, slowly, painfully... They chose to serve human enemies, fallen, and all these supernatural forces were born to their life, to know they are better than humans of this world, but them? They chose to abandon their human pride."

Aegis said, and Neo just grinned, already cheerful about the games she could play, after all, in Remnant, she no longer could play as much as she could, not when most of the people were Solitas subjects, making her play just in Vale and Vacuo, and even there she needed to be careful to not be found as it would damage Schnee reputation...

But there? There Neo, Krull, and Neopolitan could unleash their more savagery side, the one sadistic side they couldn't be seen in Solitas...

As Mittelt looked at the grins of the otherwordly women, her head hammered in her chest, she knew these grins, it was the same grins the older and more powerful fallen had when they disciplined their subordinates or played in the human world, it was the same faces of devils that given to their simple desires...

It was still hard to comprehend that the man who patted her head was King of some human kingdom in another world, a kingdom who by his world was full of powered humans who were stronger than her, true Mittelt knew she was on ones of the lowest ladder of Grigory faction, but even then she knew she was stronger than humans who had numbers the supernatural didn't have, and now there was a man who said that his human kingdom was full of such powerful people, humans who breed like rabbits, just the idea of such force made Mittelt understand that change will come, as it was clear that the man before her was not happy with they told him, no, Mittelt was old, she was in the great war, but she knew when someone was enraged, and no matter how gentle his patting of her head was, Mittelt could feel the rage the man hid in his chest...

Rage that was just waiting to blow up...

Kalawarner had the same mindset as Mittelt as she looked at the retreating forms of the women, knowing that they would see their two compatriots in a short while if they didn't play with Raynare or Dohnaseek, which she knew they would, the grins spoke for themselves, it was the same grin she had when she preyed on human males...

"Now that we are alone tell me, what are your true opinions on devils, fallen and angels?"

Aegis asked the fallen, who became quiet, not knowing what he meant.

"It is alright if you don't believe me, after all, you don't know if anything I told you was the truth, but, one thing I want to make clear... There will be change, for I will not let the current status quo of your arrogant races by, I will break it, just like I have broken so many others..."

Aegis said as he looked into their eyes and saw doubt in them, but even doubt was enough for Aegis for now, for he knew what was needed to be done...

Aegis looked at the two fallen as an idea started to form in his head, after all, until Solitas found him, he lacked subordinates, and Aegis was sure Krull and Neo's too would like some help...
