Jiraiya's Mission

Tsunade was unable to sleep, in the back of her mind something was telling her that this woman was a serious threat but she tried to suppress that thought thinking that the woman must be hiding something but nothing that serious, these conflicting thoughts were causing her a headache.

Sighing to herself, she got up from the bed and went to the window. She was just in time to pull back from the window when a body came straight in through her open window hitting the door and sliding to the ground.

An angry twitch became prominent on her forehead. She approached the fallen body with angry yet confident strides. Taking the broomstick that was left around by her minions- chunin, she pocked the body multiple times but there was no response her frown deepened and the anger she was trying to restrain went haywire. Grabbing the broom she hit the body hard.

Immediately the body jumped up yelling in pain and grabbing the head where a huge lump had appeared. Massaging his poor bruised and assaulted head, he addressed the woman in front of him.

"What the hell Tsunade? Is this how you treat your beloved teammate?"

Tsunade by now was seething in anger, grabbing him by his collar she lifted him off the ground and dropped him on the nearby chair like a sack of potatoes. "Teammate! Well, Jiraiya how do you expect to be treated? Maybe a coffee with biscuits and cakes on the side, while I massage your shoulders."

Jiraiya pretended to think for a moment before winking and giving Tsunade a thumbs up, replying; "Hmm! That is an acceptable idea, my dear Tsunade chan. After all, it was you who called me to hurry back."

Kicking him off the chair. She sat down and said in a serious voice;

"How dare you? Maybe if you came in like a normal person I would have considered a cup of coffee but that is how far my hospitality will go."

Jiraiya cut her off by saying, "Does that mean there is hope for us?

.

Tsunade's mad eye twitch was now visible. Grabbing him by the front of his shirt and bringing him close to her face she said; "Get it through your thick head there is no us. Be serious for a moment."

Hurt but waving her off with his hands he asked; "Ok! Ok! Let it go. Now, what is this serious matter, with which this humble servant can help you?"

Tsunade didn't see the hurt and started drumming her fingers in thought before saying; "Humble servant! I like that. Now listen carefully we have a new person in the village; Minori. I want you to gather information about her find out what she is hiding? And I want the information ASAP. No dillydallying, this is your mission. I have her as a ward of Hatake brat. Now leave. Dismissed."

Jiraiya saluted Tsunade before leaving. All the while he was reading the information that Tsunade had chucked at him while he was leaving.

Reading he gave his own opinions;

Minori - lovely name

21 year old - Better neither too young nor too old

First proper encounter with Naruto Uzumaki - Some dense idiotic brats have all the luck. Maybe luck goes to those without brains.

Has 12 kids - His eyes bulged out when he read that. Rubbing his eyes to see if he was hallucinating. But the number 12 was clearly on the display.

Pitting the poor lady he read the rest of the information before folding up the scroll and pocketing it. He ran towards his apartment making plans to observe her in the morning.
