A not-so-nice Knock

Cao Tai POV

I summoned a door in front of the wall segment and just like the gate, suddenly flashed into light before turning into a door frame.

Somehow there was light inside the room even though there were no windows, or anywhere for light to filter in, and no lights as far as I could see.

<That's because your in Builder View, once it is disabled you won't be able to see a thing, for example you wouldn't see Sasha about to jump on you...>

I whirl around but I see nothing, the SYSTEM LIED TO ME!!!

<It was a 'what if' come on, get a grip>

So it's just taunting me, I shake my head to get those thoughts out and begin working on the house, I begin by making 5 rooms, 1 room for everyone and then kitchen, I made my room slightly smaller since I'm probably the person with the least needs of them all, at least that's what I tell myself.

I wonder how they'll react when they see a magnificent, majestic FORTRESS laying right here. [I've never hated Webnovel more for not letting me use Italics.]

Narrator POV

Later that day, at roughly 5 PM Sasha arrives first, peering at the walls, feeling nostalgic about how it reminded her of the walls around their training camp, but then realized that she wasn't at training camp, but at the Realm of Hou, curious, she leaps over the walls with fox-like agility.

Inside lay a large house, which she assumed Cao Tai erected, admiring his resourcefulness.

However Violet and Lantla reacted quite differently when they arrived, their reaction was rash and uncalled for, which is what you would expect from those two...

"Fanatics..." The Sponsor mutters wherever he is.

They look at the building with concern, "How did this get here? Weren't we here this morning, Violet?" Lantla asks, looking at the walls, curiously.

"Yes we are... I wonder who came and made this... Master definitely couldn't at least not in one day... right? Let's find out!" Violet violently pushes the walls before her and they collapse, crumbling to her hands.

Cao Tai POV

While I was guiding Sasha to her room, we both felt the ground tremor, and then a major crash, like some angry dragon knocked over a tree or two, "Guess it's time to attend to our guests, no?" I ask Sasha, who nods in agreement.

As we open up the already creaky wooden door and look right we see a small wall segment crumbled and Violet and Lantla walking out, Lantla walking out with her hands on her mouth, trying to avoid the dust while Violet had her sword out, but once she saw me she quickly sheathed her sword and sneezed.

"How are you going to explain yourself?" I ask, tapping my foot against the ground, "I spent good money on those walls!" I continue, now she's gone too far, how dare she ruin the wall I spent like… 40,000 Magical Essence on!

"Since when could you make this? I mean… usually all you do is sulk inside a caterpillar!" Lantla suddenly says. Ohhhh I feel a vein popping, she's asking for it… but not yet, tonight on the other hand… she's going to be in trouble. "So, why did you ruin my walls, cause yes, I did make these walls and I'm not too happy at seeing them broken, so please fix it," I order, "Come on Sasha, I need to show you your room," I say, Sasha following me after sticking her tongue out at them.

And then Violet skips behind me, like I was telling her to follow me, "What are you doing, Violet?" I ask, she isn't done fixing my wall, "You only said that Lantla had to fix the wall, right, Master?" She says hopefully, yeah she knew she was going to have to fix it but she tried… "No, I said only Sasha can follow me, you still need to fix the wall, let me know when you're done," I say before continuing my brisk walk with Sasha, shutting the door behind me.

"So Sasha, where have you been?" I ask, curious to see where she was and if she was training, what she has been training.

"I've been…" Sasha pauses, thinking what she's going to say next, but whatever it is it will probably be a flat out lie or a fragment of the truth. "Training," She finishes, looking away, she has always been the most honest person, so when she doesn't say everything she knows, her body tells you, and I see that hasn't stopped. (I mean of course Sasha knows what she's training in as well, obviously)

I raise my eyebrow, "Are you lying to me? Your… superior?"

She shifts uncomfortably, she hasn't lied to me since those days in training camp, or she's gotten better at it.

"I'm trying to get better than Violet..." She mutters quietly, like Violet can hear her, shifting her weight nervously as well.

"On a head on? No way, you must get your Cultivation Level higher before that!" I exclaim.

"Well I am, right now I'm... 8... but also, I'm not planning on doing a head on, because yep thats suicide so therefore I'm planning to..." I stopped listening after that since she's ALREADY 8!?!?
