Chapter 5: Strange Child

It's nightfall at Dunshin village where a party is being held. While some of the villagers still think ill of the Goblins, others are quite the opposite as some are conversing stories with each other.

The other Goblins who couldn't really talk, just stood there enjoying the atmosphere and ignoring other villager's comments.

"Man oh man, isn't this a great party!" Said a drunken swordsman with his left arm wrapping around a not so sick woman.

"Hihi~ I guess it is!"

"Say, am I *hick* great or what?"

"You are a great man Troy~ So brave, you cured my illness and saved the village without asking for any money in return~"

"Well *hick* I got a pretty woman pouring alcohol into my cup right beside me, what do I even want more than this... *hick* Happy atmosphere!"

*gulp* *gulp* *gulp* *gulp*

"Hahahaha! Well said Troy The Dragon Slayer!" Said the Goblin King drinking from a barrel of wine. "You are definitely strong! Your name speaks truth, yes?"

"Listen *hick* I have slayed a frick ton of dragons in my glory days and *hick* and I still do but it's not fun like it used to, got me?"

"Hahahaha! Indeed, I got you!"

"Say, Dragon Slayer Troy! I have someone from my tribe... said that he wanted to follow a wandering adventurer!"

"Huh? A goblin wanted to do that?"

"I know right!? But that goblin is weird"

"Weird? In what way?"

"Let's say, he teach us the human language. And when he was first born... He said some weird things in the human language that we don't know of..."

"Huh?"

"I'm indebted to that child... His mother died bearing him and when he grow up, he teach us language and stuffs. So as King of the tribe, I will let him get his wish and-"

"I get it.. I get it... I will make sure that he is safe *hick* when he's ready to embark with me on my journey..."

"HAHAHAHA! I thank you, Dragon Slayer Troy!"

The night passes by with everyone partying and enjoying the peace that has yet to come. Til the morning comes...

*Yawn*

"What a rough night that was..." Troy said as he woke up from his sleep and found himself in a familiar cabin. "Hm? This isn't my house..." He felt a strange yet soft sensation when he touched something besides him underneath the blanket.

"Wait!" He then removed the blanket to uncover himself naked and Ivy as well. "Ah... That's what happened... *Sigh* Why did I do this to a widow like her..." He took some moments to think about this and decided to leave a note and headed out.

At the dawn of morning, the village is quiet with no noise. Everyone was asleep from last night hard partying meanwhile the Goblins returned back to their village to sleep. Troy set off to the Goblin village. The Goblin King awaits his arrival.

"Listen now, young goblin. I know I'm not smarter than you but I am your King! Remember not to upset people or they will kill you!"

"I know I know, where is he anyway?"

"He is here"

"Hey there! Is that the kid?"

"Yes"

"Whooaaaa! You look sooo cool! Like that one character from a video game series wielding a giant sword!"

"Uh-huh"

"I told you, this here is weird"

"Well, don't worry! I'll keep him safe during my journey! And uh, monsters don't have names right? I remembered reading it from a book but from what I have seen, most monsters got their own names"

"We are simple tribe, we only have titles to represent our worthy place in the tribe!"

"Then I'll name you... Goberin! Sounds good, little fellow?"

"Huh? Awesome! Do I get like some stats or some unique skills when you name me?"

"Pftss, what are you even saying kid?"

"Oh uh, never mind me! I-I uh just say some random stuffs sometimes, hehe..."

"Well, alright then kid! We'll be heading off now, so do you have anything you wanted to say to your kin here at the village?"

"I've already said my fill this morning, mister! Goodbyeeee everyone!!"

The little goblin kid waves to everyone in the village as they cry and cheering him on. And so the embark on their journey, leaving the Dunshin village and Goblin village behind them.

Later that morning...

*Yawn*

Ivy awoke from her sleep, still drowsy she looks around her bedroom with a satisfying and blissful look on her face. "Such a wonderful night~ I thought that I was a bit inexperienced but you were so good! I haven't had one in such a long time... You were right Troy~ All I need was-" She then turns her head to look over seemingly to check up on her partner last night but there's no one there. "H-Huh?" What she found was a note on the table with such neat hand writing.

I'm sorry for what I've done to you last night. I wouldn't be so low to blame the booze but all I can blame was myself. I heard from Krey that you husband died not so long ago, so after we've slept together last night, it made me regret what I did. I will be off on my journey wherever the winds take me and maybe we can see each other again. Take care of Krey, he's a nice kid and also take care of yourself...
