The problem follows me…

Murmurs filled the field, where the evacuated students stand.

"Who dares to create a ruckus here?"

"I can't believe someone dared to put a bomb here,"

I was smiling to myself very thinly, as others did not notice that I smiled. The sound of sirens came closer as fire trucks raced inside the building. What happened was expected well.

"Is anyone hurt?" One of the firemen asked to the teachers. Only 'no' was the answer. Next, the police came in to check. Luckily the CCTV near the lab has been malfunctioning these days, so not much evidence they got. Or else I would not dare to detonate the lab.

Several loud noises from the teachers made my ears open. I must have heard them correctly, haven't I?

"Where's Jon and John?!" one of the teachers shrieked. The students were also worried, except for me, of course.

"What happened at that level, Reishan?" asked Adam, one of my only friends in school. I quickly shrugged and put on a worried face. Akiff, also one of my friends, only watched the situation. Really, this is not the right time to tell that I am the criminal!

The police were also in a panic. Because Jon and John cannot be found anywhere in school, well, they cannot presume them dead yet!

Well, given that the twins were from another country, did their parents care about them if they were this bad in character. Nah, maybe their parents did not care.

I have no idea of what I have done.

A few days later and no sign of Jon or John to be found. Given by whispers and chatters of my friends and teachers… someone is coming to check. With a gaping hole in level 5, it was definitely something fishy.

The recess bell has rang and I went out to check outside. Accompanied by Adam and Akiff, we 'patrolled' around the school. We checked the general office, and what we saw was really a scene.

An army commander, telling by the badges, was sitting on a chair behind the door. Beside him was a woman in a lab coat, and the school's principal at the front there. Were those the bullies' parents? I am not sure. But that was really out of my expectations. How can a stern and strict commander have lazy, dumb and fat twins?!

We three was about to leave the room, enough of the spying when the door behind us suddenly opened. I faced my back and the commander and the woman beside him went out. The woman glanced at me with a terrifying stare and whispered something to the commander's ear. Am I feeling… that she is reading my expressions?

"Boy, come here!" As expected. I put on an arrogant smug and walked with my two friends to face the stern-looking commander.

"What?" I tried to be brave and arrogant as possible.

"Tell the truth. You blew up the lab, right?" demanded the gruff commander, my eyes scanning through his attire. No Singapore flag. And the attire… was from another country.

"Did you blew up the lab?!" demanded the commander which blew off my thoughts. Oh, what must I say?

"If I said yes, then what will happen?" I threw the question back to him. I have to admit that this man is really decisive in answers.

"I shall kill you like how you kill my son. And I give a warning to Singapore… that war is coming,"

"Then I should be the frontline to defend it,"

"Nosy kid! Think what you can do, huh!"

"You'll see, commander, that I'm not only a nosy kid that blew up the school lab," I answered his taunt. Actually I really have nothing to prove that Singapore is not a match. It was just to enhance my words and to tell that man that we are not easy prey. I have not seen which country this man was from, or even what is its statistics. Clearly I am not prepared.

"Huh! You'll see kid, your house will be ashes!" snorted the commander as he walked away, the woman still staring me with an abnormal aura. I feel a little giddy, but I still put up a confident expression as the two mysterious figures disappeared by the basement stairs.

"How?" asked Akiff as he also stared at the commander going down the stairs.

"I was just proving that we're strong too, Akiff. So they might want to think twice before striking us," I answered his question.

I can't stop thinking about them. What if they really come to attack? We do not know where would they come from.

"Did you did that?" asked Adam as he glanced at my glasses.

"Yes," Only that came out, and Adam only nodded like nothing just happened.

"Return to class, its English time," Akiff checked his watch and went away, we all waited what else will transform our lives.

The next day was peaceful, although there was still the gaping hole, classes were resumed. Weirdly, it was a very windy day that the scorching sun cannot be felt. Weather predictions were not that accurate then.

It was recess and I was bringing a bowl of warm noodles to my seat, where Adam and Akiff were waiting there already eating. It was a noisy canteen full of chittering boys and girls. Of course, the wind was blowing more than enough to make the air cool.

"Get out the way!" one of my other friends, Salahuddin, he as the current head student leader with a distinguished badge, ran off. As a reflex, my friends and I ran as-

BRAKK!!! The sound of crunching metal made everyone there panic. BRAK! BRAK! BAM! Turns out a damaged car has rammed the canteen's fences, and now was flinging tables, chairs, food and students alike. Holy, how can a car crash to a canteen at level three?!

I managed to escape the debris and wow! It was a chaotic mess. The banged-up car has now skidded to the other side of the building, maybe flung from a garage or from a parking lot. Thick smoke flew into the air, broken tables, chairs, cutlery and debris were scattered around, making anyone there run away. What on Earth is happening??
