A new PARTNER?!

Jenna stopped dusting dirt off her jacket suddenly when she heard Trevor question the guy sitting right next to him.

"Oh yeah, you didn't tell me about yourself." Jenna recalled.

Both of them turned their attentions towards the guy sitting just across them.

"I'm Samuel, but you can call me Sam," he said offering his hand to Trevor.

Trevor gave his hand a small shake and said, "Trevor,"

Jenna sensing the tension between both of the guys intercepted with a lively voice.

"Hey, I'm Jenna". Sam now averted his attention from Trevor and turned towards her, and offered him her hand that he took without thinking.

"Are you from here ? I mean you live here ?" Jenna tried asking him cautious.

Sam shook his head and told her, "Well, not exactly but I have been here for some days."

Jenna looked at Trevor and found him already looking at her.

"So where are you from ?" Trevor asked him now.

"I'm from Johannesburg, " he said looking around as it was already dark and the only thing lightening up the area was fire Trevor has started earlier.

"You were also thrown here out of nowhere?" Jenna asked him for confirmation.

Sam looked at her dumbfounded. "Umm, how do you know?"

Trevor raised his eyes and motioned to his and Jenna's dirty clothes , telling him with his eyes that they were not from here either.

Jenna shook her head at his antics and answered Sam for him, " We are not from here either, have been thrown here as well."

"Oh," he nodded and moved to the fire to sit near it.

Jenna and Trevor followed suit and sat near the fire.

"You guys have any idea what is this all going on?" He again inquired.

Trevor opened his mouth to answer, but Jenna beat him to it and responded,

"Well, according to Trevor we are in another space, or somehow in a video game." Sam pooked at them dumbfounded. And then started to laugh just as hysterically as she once had at Trevor.

Trevor shook his head at Sam's stupidity and looked at Jenna to see her doing the same thing.

So he started to explain to him. "Here is a thing," he took a branch that has fallen from the tree, lying near them now, and break it into two pieces. "Here," he said showing him the programs running in the stick.

Sam stopped mid laugh and took the stick from him. "Oh God, what's going on."

He kept on searching the stick around to find nothing different.

"So what do you think, we can go back?" He hopefully asked him.

"Well, I dont know how long is it going to be, but" he stopped when Jenna started to complete it, "But we found a block that hit the ground yesterday and it gave us a clue," Trevor showed him the block whose shine was now dim.

Sam read the words, " What does this thing even means ?"

"We gotta make a team now ,there might be only three of us or may be more," Trevor answered him.

"There are more like us?" Jenna nodded at his question. And moved closer to the fire to warm her freezing hands.

Trevor heaved a sigh and started to think again about the possibilities that they could go back.

"Do you think we will have a new clue now?" Jenna asked him uncertainly.

Sam along with Jenna looked him with questioning glances. But he sat there staring at the fire flames without paying any heed to them.

Seeing his disinterest Jenna thought that it might be best to leave it to me for now.

"I'm gonna sleep now," Jenna announced yawning.

She cleaned the grounds a little bit and placed her jacket beneath her head and settled down on the ground.

Sam nodded at her and made himself comfortable as well.

Trevor could feel himself getting tired now as he saw both of them enveloped in the dreamless slumber.

He saw Jenna's calm rhythm of breathing and then heard a loud snoring voice from the other side. He turned around to see Sam snoring loudly with his arm on his forehead.

Trevor looked at him with a dejected look and lay down on the rough ground himself, but thankfully it did not have alot of stones or leaves covering it.

"Oh God what's going to happen now?" He muttered before going to sleep.

Jenna was awake but she still was not ready to wake up so she turned around trying to stop the dazzling rays from disturbing her eyes.

But her attempts were soon demolished when she heard something moving downwards towards them.

She hurriedly sat up with wide eyes she looked at the same commit coming downwards that they have both seen before.

She was trying to comprehend that where it was going to hit when she sas it frew inches away from where three of them were sleeping.

As if realising it just then she screamed,

"Trevor!" She tried moving him, "SAM!" she called out his name now.

Both of them woke up with groggy eyes looking at her to ask her why was she screaming, "Its going to hit us, RUN!" she said motioning to the commit and started running away.

Following her motion both of them saw a glowing block coming towards them,

"Fu**k," Voth of them cursed loudly and ran the way Jenna has.

All of them hastily bent down behind a string tree trying to lower the impact they would feel when it hit the ground.

The ground suddenly was set on vibration when the block hit the ground and a small hole was made again, just as it had done on their first time.

They waited surprised for the vibration to stop, and Sam looked at the trees to find their ong trunks moving like a rubber and the ground had a pretty big hole where the block had just hit the ground.

"Its the 2nd hint I think," Trevor answered him seeing his confusion.

Sam opened his mouth to ask him but then closed it not knowing what to ask him anymore.

"Let's go check it out what does it say." Jenna commanded and started to move to the hole that's been made in the ground.
