"Hahahahaha," the young man encircled by the snake suddenly started laughing.
The young woman in red from earlier felt the hairs on her arm stand.
This kid didn't seem to care about his companions at all!
Contradictory to her feelings, Yung Sheng was quite enjoying himself. He hadn't experienced anything like this before, as such he found the new experience quite refreshing.
He was about to continue the rally when the middle-aged man from earlier finally lost it!
"Enough!"
How could he stand by and watch the corpses of his comrades be desecrated?!

His body erupted with a torrent of purple mist!
The mist quickly condescended and took the form of a group of crows!
Each of them gleamed with a deep purple light!
"You dare attack members of the Mystic Court! Die!"
Before anyone could react the murder of crows suddenly all dashed towards Yun Sheng!
"Hmph!"
Yun Sheng snorted before his body began to glow with the same hexagonal pattern from earlier!
His fist flew forward, aiming for the nearest crow!
However, the impact he was expecting never came!
The moment his fist made contact the crow simply turned into purple mist and continued to rush forward!
Just as quickly, the mist reformed back into the crow!
"Die!" The middle-aged man shouted.
He quickly placed his middle finger and thumb on his right hand together!
Boom!
The crow detonated!
At the same time, Yun Sheng's body flashed with a pale-yellow light.
'My store!' the woman in red could only run as tears streamed down her face.
Her life's work!
"Nooo!"
She paled at the sight of the blinding light!
Her store was a goner!
Yet the explosion never came.
Instead her eyes began to grow wide.
The massive explosion that should have ruined her store had actually been contained!
Surrounding a roughly ten-foot area around Yun Shen was a pale-yellow hexagonal shield!
It had contained the explosion!
Even the floor didn't have a scratch on it!
Yun Sheng himself was also unscathed!
"How dare you try to interfere with the economy of Blue Reef City! You're asking for death!"
Yun Sheng's body flashed with a dazzling light!

The middle-aged man was suddenly assaulted by a violent force to his chest!
Before he could make out was happening he noticed something strange.
He was staring at the sky.

As he was lost in his thoughts, a shadow swiftly appeared in front of him!

Yung Sheng spoke before a massive fifty-foot avatar suddenly appeared around him!
Its body was translucent and shone with a pale-yellow light.
The avatars upper half was bare and heavily muscled, on his skin hexagonal marking could be seen, they shone with a deep light and emitted a strange humming sound. On its lower half, the avatar wore the fur of a massive beast and stood barefoot. His face resembled Yun Sheng, the only difference being the avatars wild an untamed hair.
That avatars legs stood rooted firmly on the ground while Yun Sheng himself floated within its chest.
Without a moment's loss, he threw out a punch!
The avatar mirrored him!
Bang!
A massive fist covered in dazzling yellow hexagons struck the middle-aged man!
"Argh!!!"
Coughing up blood, he couldn't help but shudder as he stared at the massive avatar!
No qi!
Not even a trace!
"B-Black Grade Blood lineage?!?!"
The middle-aged man was appalled!
What was such a noble existence doing being a normal city guard?!
He only attacked because he had sensed the other party's cultivation!

The crows flapped their deep purple wings before launching towards Yun Sheng from different angles!
Yun Sheng stood within his avatar seemingly unconcerned.
'Will the City Lord yell at me again? I'm fairly sure I'm doing the right thing,' he nodded to himself before taking a step forward, his avatar mimicking his motions.
"Die!!!"
The middle-aged man shouted as he detonated all the crows at once!

A massive explosion went off in the skies above the Golden Steps!
"Ahhhhh!!"
The crowds below screamed as the massive explosion rocked the city!
"Run! Yun Sheng is fighting again!"
"Dammit! This is the sixth time this year!!!"

The residents of Blue Reef City were all too familiar with that dazzling avatar.
Every time it appeared an entire part of the city was at risk of being leveled!
Further away from the store Li Renjie's eyes had damn near popped out his head!
'What is that?!"
'An avatar?! Crazy!!!'
'The crows explode?!'

'Are they trying to destroy the city?!'
Just then, he saw an even more incredible scene.

The avatar had actually grown again!

Surrounding its entire body was a colossal shield composed of hexagons!
It contained the massive explosion!

The middle-aged man was shocked as his body plummeted towards the ground.
His cultivation wasn't high enough to allow him to fly and normally he could only wait to land.

The purple bracelet on his left hand flashed before an intricately patterned purple and gold carpet appeared below his feet!
Rather than try and run away he instead flew back towards the store!

The middle-aged man tried to summon the carpet back but felt an opposing force restraining it!
His injuries prevented him from utilizing his qi fully, he couldn't fight the strange force!
He plummeted!
Landing just feet away from that damn thief!

"Cough! Cough!" the middle-aged man coughed blood for the third time!
His eyes were bloodshot.
His head immediately snapped towards the young boy!
Yet before he could say anything the young boy spoke up!
"Causing harm to innocent citizens! Acting wantonly without care for the law! Trash! I shall confiscate your property as punishment!"
The young boy spoke with righteousness as he pointed and shook his head towards the haggard middle-aged man.
Li Renjie felt pretty confident no normal person would set off such a massive explosion above a city full of ordinary citizens.
As such, he knew no shame as he spoke.
"I'll kill you!" the middle-aged was seeing red!
This little bastard just robbed him but was acting as if he had the moral high ground!
"Do you have time to worry about me?"
Li Renjie smiled before pointing up with his right-hand, his left-hand clutching firmly onto the purple carpet.
"He's right, you seem to have forgotten about me," a calm voice sounded from just above the middle-aged man.
Shudder!
The middle-aged man leapt forward!
The store was so close!
Alas…
A twenty-foot pale yellow figure came crashing down on his body!
"Argh!!!"
His body sank three feet into the paved street!
'Black grade…why…a guard…'
These were the middle-aged man's final thoughts before he died.
'He can change its size at will?' Li Renjie watched curiously.
Glancing at the man within the pale golden avatar he couldn't help himself.
His left eye began to focus.
The man's reflection wasn't as blurry as the chickens, but Li Renjie's body froze the moment he laid eyes on it.
The man's reflections wasn't a copy of him!
It was mountain!
A massive golden mountain!
On the peak of the mountain sat a hazy figure draped in golden beast pelts!
On his body, dazzling golden hexagons!
'What?!'
'What's going on?'
His mind spun as he tried to understand.
Yun Sheng recalled his avatar and stood in the center of the pit.
Looking down, he clicked his tongue before speaking.
"Don't cause trouble for the citizens."
'It's gone…' Li Renjie was further perplexed as the golden mountain and figure had now vanished, replaced with a somewhat blurry but ordinary reflection of the man.
Back at the store the young man seemed to have finally had his fill of entertainment and began to walk forward, ignoring the terrified group that had come along with him.
Yun Sheng slowly came out the pit and stared coldly at the young man.
The crowd gulped before the young man did something unexpected.
He bowed.
"Please excuse the behavior of my subordinates," the young man said before standing back up, the same smile from earlier still plastered on his face.
Then he simply turned around and walked away.
Silence.
What a strange young man.
Did he really think that was all it was going to take?
Before anyone could react he had already walked towards Li Renjie while sticking his hand forward.
"The carpet," he said, or rather…ordered.
He didn't even seem to notice Li Renjie, it was as if he could have been anyone.
"Hmmm, your reflections about the same as his."
"Huh?"
The young man was caught off guard by the random statement.
Fwwshh!!!
A sliver light suddenly shout out of Li Renjie's left eye!
'How dare you try and punk me!'
Moon in the Lake!
The young man in white and purple robes quickly jumped back and struck out with a palm!
To his shock, from the silver light a similar palm suddenly came flying at him!
Bang!
The two figures flew back!

The young man's eyes grew wide as he stared at the silver figure before him.
His hair was tied in an elegant topknot and glowed with a deep silver luster.
His eyes were silver and calculating.
Wearing white and silver robes he looked quite elegant.
It was him!
A silver copy of him!
The young man's eyes grew wide before he shifted his attention back to the child.
His chin was tilted up and his arms crossed.
The look of arrogance on his face all too clear for the world to see.
Yet that's not what the young man noticed, and he was not alone. Yung Sheng had also spotted the child's strange quirk.
His eyes.
His eyes looked like pure silver mirrors!
The young man and Yun Sheng could clearly see their reflection in the child's eyes! Even more, was the fact that each of his eyes had two pupils!
What caught them off guard was the child's cultivation, or rather his lack thereof!
Unless he possessed some sort of treasure that concealed his cultivation, he seemed like a mortal through and through!
'An ocular-type Blood lineage?' The young man smiled before straightening his back and looking at the silver figure.
It was noticeably dimmer than before.
'Hmmm? Red? Or perhaps…Black?'
Before he could keep observing, the figure flashed and turned into silver specks of light that faded away.
"Take that as a lesson, the carpet stays with me,' Li Renjie said arrogantly before turning and walking away.
As he walked with his back to the young man a smile came to his face.
First test.
