David's Confusing Attitude

The roar of his breath sounded very loud, and Romi kept running.

In his heart, the boy kept wondering, where are the people today.

Why is it so quiet today and no one is listening to his scream?

When the feeling of fear was getting more and more overpowering his feelings, Romi saw from the end of the road where he was running, a man was standing, still wearing a mask, the same as the previous man.

But the man now looks young.

Romi feels confused finally he turns around. There is a small passage and Romi runs into it.

Of course, Romi was scared, he didn't know where this part would stop, he had never seen it.

So what if this part is a dead end?

But I don't know, Romi doesn't care, the important thing is that he still has to run without stopping, so he can avoid being chased by criminals.

Seen behind him, one of the masked men had started to enter the hallway.

Romi immediately quickened his pace.

And he found two paths.

Romi seemed to stop for a moment because he was confused about which route to choose.

But suddenly someone covered his mouth from behind.

Romi could no longer move, the man's hand was very strong, and slowly pulled his body and stopped in a room similar to a warehouse.

"You stay here first, and don't leave before they're far away ...," The man whispered.

Then the mysterious man whose face and identity he still didn't know slowly let go of his hand.

Romi turned his head and was immediately surprised when he saw that the man was David, the older brother of Mesya.

"David?" Romi said spontaneously.

"Ssssst ...." David immediately put on the black mask, which he just took out of his pocket, then left the room leaving Romi.

And in front, there are already two masked men chasing Romi.

David spoke to the two men, then pointed to the right lane, which was opposite Romi's hideout.

Romi was still following them, then they ran towards the path that David pointed.

Finally, Romi survived, without a second thought he ran fast to leave the place.

In front of the gate, the driver had just come home with his car.

"Sir Sarno!" Romi shouted calling the driver's name.

"What's the matter, Romi? Where have you been?" asked the driver.

"Don't keep asking, sir! Quickly lock the gate!" Romi orders.

The driver looked very confused by Romi's strange behaviour.

"Why, Rom?" The driver asked again.

"Anyway, close and lock!" Romi said.

Finally, the driver locked the gate tightly, without asking further, while Romi immediately ran into the house, and locked the door to his room.

This is a scary incident for Romi, Romi has often watched thriller films about murder by masked men. And it reminded him of that.

An event that he never imagined had come true, somehow it would have happened if David had not helped him.

Maybe he was dead, held captive or had his organs harvested.

I don't know... Romi's mind has been soaring everywhere.

"Is that true, David? The strange man from Mesya's brother? The one who scolded me so badly just because I ate his sister's lunch?" said Romi who in his brain kept wondering.

He was confused by David's attitude earlier.

Yesterday David was very annoying, and it was obvious that David didn't like his closeness with Mesya, but why did David help him today.

David was wearing the same clothes as the two masked men who had chased him earlier.

Does that mean David is a member, of a group of people who are after him?

I don't know... Romi is confused.

The morning was sunny, and as usual, Mesya went to school.

With a cheerful face, she walked towards her class.

The beautiful girl with dimples looks impatient to meet Romi, her best friend who is can make her now back cheerful after parting with Zahra.

However, when Mesya entered the class, Romi's chair was still empty, even though the lesson was about to start in 5 minutes.

"Oh, where's Romi?" said the Mesya.

Mesya sits wondering and looks disappointed at not being able to meet Romi.

Mesya continues to wait for Romi's arrival because maybe Romi is late because he wakes up late.

But, until the first lesson began, Romi did not come.

'Why today, Romi, skipping?' Mesya asked in her heart.

'He should have told me, he, 'had my cell phone number,'

Mesya looks very worried, she is afraid that the incident that Zahra left behind will happen again. Moreover, Mesya just felt happy because she had a close friend again, if that incident happened again, Mesya vowed that she would no longer want to be close to anyone, for fear that they would experience misfortune and even death like before. Several hours passed, the recess bell began to ring, and Mesya began to leave the classroom.

With unsteady steps, Mesya walked towards the school canteen.

The beautiful girl's face looked so disappointed and lonely.

Today she has to sit alone.

Mesya repeatedly stares at her cellphone and waits for a message from Romi, but Romi doesn't read Mesya's message at all, even when Mesya tries to call him, Romi also doesn't want to pick up.

"Hello, Beautiful Sister!" said Arthur who walked towards Mesya. Arthur came with his two male friends, named Rio and Rico.

"Wow, so this is your little sister huh?" Riko asked Arthur.

"Yes, that's right! Beautiful, isn't it?" said Arthur.

"Wow, really looks like a princess," replied Rico.

"Of course, because she's the only one, Princess, in our family, and remember don't you dare mess with my Beautiful Sister," Arthur said with a meaningful cynical smile.

"Geez Arthur, we're not kidding, it's just that you want to date him haha!" Rio joked.

Arthur raised his eyebrows for a moment and he smiled faintly again. "Try it if you dare." He said in a fairly relaxed and low tone.

"Arthur, what are you doing here?" asked Mesya.

"I want to see how my brother is doing, whether he's okay or not," Arthur replied.

Then he lowered his head again.

"Don't be sad beautiful sister, if there is no one to accompany you, there is still me, Big Brother who is always there for you," Arthur said.

"Yes, thank you," answered Mesya.

From a distance, David saw Mesya and Arthur chatting.

David looked cold and looked like he was holding back his irritation.
