chapter 11: the 2nd encounter with storm terror (Aether/Aden)

(aether's POV)

As we started touching down and started having Amber tell us how many seconds we had in the air, I started to smile but got the feeling that something was not right.

Looking up at the sky, I could see it go from a happy clear blue sky to a rainy stormy day, I guess that is what Aden would call a rainy day, a shit day.

"Well, I was waiting for the sky to change, wait a minute." Aden said as me, Amber, and Aden saw the sky start to change.

"The sky..." Amber said as we all looked to our right just in time to hear a noise, a noise that sounded very familiar enough to make me and Aden shit both our pants.

Suddenly before Aden could ask what the noise was and start removing his wind glider, storm terror proceeded to appear in the city.

"oh SHIT." I thought as I saw storm terror fly through the city and cause damage to one of the buildings as people ran and hid in a panic.

I on the other hand started to tell Aden to evacuate the people inside as if to make sure there were no injuries for him or the others during the evac before heading out to see where both me and Amber were.

As I looked at the area where Storm Terror was, I could hear him let out a roar that was the same one when we had our first encounter in the woods, this also caused a dark tornado to appear in the city.

And to make it worse, I was not dealing with one dark tornado.

I was dealing with three dark tornados that were in the area where the civilians were located, Aden (who was in the area) was getting them inside when he saw those dark tornados and the two of us.

"GET INSIDE BOTH OF YOU." he yelled as we did as he asked, but that is when the dark tornado decided to have other plans by sucking me in and spitting me out.

"AETHER." I heard both Aden and Amber yell as the two watched in horror while I was sent flying into the sky and through the clouds where the blue sky was hiding.

As I looked down at the city and saw the chaos that the dark tornados were causing, i started to look to my left as I saw Storm Terror fly towards me with its mouth open as if it wanted to eat me alive.

As soon as it was ready to devour me whole, I moved out of the way by evading it and saw it fly past me as I was sent flying again only to be stopped by my wind glider.

[Meanwhile on the ground, Aden's POV]

"Huh? How is he staying afloat like this with just a wind glider?" Paimon questioned as I was thinking the same before a mysterious voice started to speak out and give us the answer to the question we needed.

"I'm preventing your fall with the power of a thousand winds." a mysterious voice asked as me and paimon started to look around.

" OI WHO THE FUCK SAID THAT." I yelled while looking around only to have soap get shoved into my mouth by Amber as the mysterious voice continued.

"Now concentrate. See yourself grasping the wind. Harness it's energy." the mysterious voice asked as paimon joined in on what I said.

Paimon: "Who... who said that!?"

As we watched the fight with storm terror continue, the dragon started to let out a shriek as it flew up to the sky and into the clouds leaving Aether alone in the sky as if he wanted nothing to do with him.

(aether's POV)

8 pm

it was a dark and stormy night in the city as I was heading down to see if the 2 were okay during the evacuation when I landed safely on the ground.

When I did land on the ground I could see Amber and Aden run toward me and start asking if I was hurt or not, and thankfully I was not.

suddenly the 3 of us heard footsteps approaching the area as we all had turned and looked at the source of the sound to see who it was, "You've actually got the power to go up against the dragon... Are you a new ally... or a new storm?
