Chapter 1

We had split up, as I told him we would make better progress by ourselves, something he had wholeheartedly agreed.

Once I saw that he was gone, I pushed magic into my eyes causing the entire world to zoom in.

[X- ray vision] as it is called, I stumbled upon it by accident-kinda, as I was hoping if I push magic up too my eyes I would get a doujutsu, like the sharingan and the boyugan from naruto, but unfortunately. Magic is not like chakra, fortunately My brain had imagined the effects and desire as I pushed into my eyes, causing it to glow a faint green.

Before I knew it the [X-Ray Vision] skill has been created.

It's a pretty effective skill to be honest, hard to control, but effective.

I was able to progress a lot quicker, I managed to get what I need and got went back to the same spot where I once was, where I was later rejoined by Draco and headed over to madame Malkins basically for all occasions.

Draco, of course, had insisted on going first, and I was made to wait as she was busy with another first year.

Mom and Dad went off to collect out books trusting are to meet at Olivander's once we were done.

Fortunately for us, the assistant had finished by the time we had arrived.

I could only stare on as I wait, watching Draco be his usual dickishness self as madam malkins finished with him he immediately left me afterward.

While I was waiting, a girl came in, she was actually kind of cute. Crimson- red hair tied into a ponytail, two bangs came down to her forehead as one came across her and emerald green eyes danced around nervously.

Alarm bells went off in my head as I had seen this. This was not good.

"First-year dear?"

Malkins asked

The girl nodded and was directed to the pitting station next to me.

"Hello"

I introduced myself causing the girl to jump slightly, she snapped her neck towards my direction while looking at me wearily under her bangs.

Oh no, this action has definitely set off more warning bells inside my head.

"I'm Adam Malfoy," I introduced with a small smile, "are you starting Hogwarts this year?"

The girl nodded minutely but didn't say anything.

"That's great, I hope we can be friends." I smiled

The girl looked surprised before she nodded hesitantly and gave a small smile.

"Alright Luv" said malkins "now that that's done you next, come."

I stepped up and watched her as she dressed me.

"Rose" she spoke for the first time, her voice held a slightly musical ring to it, I could barely hear it, but yet I did, It came in as a barely audible whisper but it somehow was as clear as day.

I smiled charmingly or at least, I thought it was charming.

"Its nice to meet you." I said

She blushed and ducked her head in response.

Huh I guess it was.

"Alright, all done" Malkins called out.

I turned towards, and nodded at her before glancing back at Rose who still had her head ducked in embarrassment and said.

" well, that's that," I said with a sigh, "I hope I'll see ya later Rose."

With that, I had walked out to meet my parents at Olivander's.

Once I had exited the room, the smile had left my face and a frown had formed in it's place.

I had learned the signs of abuse from a book a few weeks ago in my previous life, flinching every time someone makes contact, being unusually shy, all of those warnings were all something she had.

I was a lucky one but I guess she wasn't.

I think it is time for me to interfere more. I will try to get her out no I will get her out of her shell get her away from the Dursley's, but first I must get my wand and then a per, as my mothers orders.

Although I myself don't necessarily need a wand, It's mandatory to get one if your going to attend Hogwarts as a student.

I had just entered Ollivander's where I had met my mother who had informed me that Draco and Dad had already left.

I noticed a small distaste in her tone of voice, it seems that My mother shares the same sentiment as me to the rest of the family.

"Well hello there young lad"

I calmly turned my head towards a person that I'm guessing to be Ollivander, he looked quite surprised.

"Hello," I said "I'm guessing you must be Mr. Olivander?"

"Indeed I am," Olivander smiled "I must admit I am surprised. I thought you'd be startled and reach out to attack me."

"Always expect the unexpected" I said back.

"indeed, " He looked at me curiously before he turned towards my mother

"Yes, yes we noticed, " she said impatiently as she was tapping her foot, "Can you do this quickly? We are in a bit of a hurry."

"Of course madam" Olivander nodded, not offended in the slightest before turning to me." Well now Mr. Malfoy, let's see"

He pulled out a long tape measure with silver markings.

"Which hand is your wand arm?" Olivander asked.

"I uas both hands" I replied waving my hands.

"I see" Olivander hummed. He stepped forward and began measuring me from every inch of my body, from shoulder to finger wrist to elbow shoulder to floor, knee to arm put and around my head.

"Every oliver wand has a core of a powerful magical substance," he explained, "we use Unicorn hairs, Phoenix tail feathers, Dragon heartstrings .none of Olivanders two wands are the same."

He then went to the shelf and started pulling down boxes.

"Yes this will do" he said.

The measuring tapecrumpled onto the floor in a heap.

"Right then," Olivander sighed, "Mr. Malfoy try this one breach wood and Dragon heartstrings just take ut and give it a wave."

I nodded, "ok"

I did exactly what he said. *Crack* The wand split apart.

Olivander looked on in astonishment.

"uh" must be because of the unlimited magic reserves.

"How unusual" he gasped

After a moment or two Ollivander calmed down and took the broken wand from me and started analyzing it

"What happened?" I asked him curiously

Olivander stopped what he was doing and looks at me.

"Your magic," He said "is far too dense to be able to use a wand."

"dense?"

"Yes, your magic it's extremely rare but you occasionally find magic users with extremely dense cores." Olivander explained before he put the broken wand back into the box.

My mother looked alarmed at this, causing her to stand up abruptly

"What does that mean for my son?!" she demanded "will he still is able to attend Hogwarts?"

Olivander shook his head.

"No-no it just means he requires a different focus," he explained, before he paused as an Idea had struck him "hold on for one moment."

Ollivander then went away.

" I am suddenly very relieved that Draco is not here," I whispered to mother "do you know what he'll say if he was?"

Mother scowled at the thought.

"Unfortunately yes," she replied "honestly, where did I go wrong with that boy? A Weasleys more Slytherin than him."

I stood silent, deciding not to mention that it was mostly dads fault for spoiling him so much.

Ollivander came back with another wand, it was slightly different than the rest.

"Here you go," he smiled "please forgive me if its a bit rusty it's been sitting on a shelf for a long time."

I reached out and grasp the wand

Instantly it glowed, shifting to a silver dagger with a golden handle It fit perfectly in my handle.

Olivander stared, as did I, before I grinned and did a couple of practice swings.

Olibander stared as if enraptured befor he shook off his daze.

" You should probably change this back into a wand now So people won't be startled about a kid with a blade."

I nodded, "Yeah, that sounds like a good Idea...How do I do tha-"

as soon a I said that the sword glowed before it turned back into a wand.

"Huh."

Olivander reached out and took the book from his shelf and handed it to me I looked at him as he said.

"Here's an instructions manual." he told me "I suggest you figure this out before accidents happen."

"Oh ok," I smiled cheerfully "thanks"

I grabbed it from him.

"Alright then son" mom said " come along we must hurry."

"Thanks again Mr. Ollivander" I told him after we had payed for the wand.

"Anytime," he replied back with a small smile.

After that we left the wand shop and headed towards the next stop.
