Declan grew sadder to see her cry. He sat down next to her and took the report from her. "Don't cry." He reached out to wipe her tears. "She can't do anything to separate us. In fact, no one can come between us."
Upon hearing his words and noticing the sincerity in his eyes, she began to think that Declan never wanted to divorce her and that Tina had lied about it. That vicious woman, who could lie about her child, would go to any length to get Declan. She assumed Tina had done something to get Declan to sign the divorce agreement without his knowledge.
