Donatus

"Welcome to Academy Donatus",

the word Donatus rung no bells so I didn't take time to note it until my world changed when I was enrolled to the next level

" Take your seats, the briefing will start shortly " The student leader on the podium announced

He wore a white uniform which rised the first flag in my eyes but other than that he looked normal he was handsome sounded well manured and responsible, his brown hair was cut short, his eyes where blue and focused and even from the distance I stood I could tell they held power in them

" My name is Elliot and on behalf of the students body I want to welcome you all, to Academy Donatus " his voice firm, focused eyes stared my way

The students clapped excited but his focus never moved around the room but instead stayed in my direction for a second I thought he was looking at me untill I turned to the girl next to me

She wore a White uniform long bark straight hair and face down to avoid his percing gaze that clearly held a warning message, after I took a closer look at her I realized she didn't look that different from him

" Let's welcome the vice Principal " he added and again the students started clapping

" Thank you Mr. Elliot, Am sorry the principal can't join us he has his hands tied up right now but am sure he will get time to address you so am briefing this time, first thing ..." the woman spoke starting the briefing I didn't pay much attention to her as my attention was capture by the girl every moment that went by I created a mental picture of her

The briefing went on for thirty minutes, where we were re-introduced to the system of Donatus and presented with teachers and divided into classes the entire time I kept snicking glances at her she didn't look up until the briefing ended

we were instructed to to follow our teachers to our classes

" Hey don't tell me your already hitting on girls on your first day " I guys voice said before I could get up I turned as I was a little startled, I didn't expect any one really talk to me on the first day

" No, I just thought she is .."

"Beautiful, right " he completed my sentence as she stood up and gave us a short glance and left

" that's not what I was going to say " I corrected, staring at the guy he had shinny silver hair which was the biggest high light on his head, his face looked average not too handsome not too ugly either but his mood was happy and reckless.

He is like trouble , I concluded

" Am Eric From Donatus S Academy " he said

" Jack , Donatus A" I answered . Donatus academy has a weird system of breaking it learner's into branches when they are in lower class and if you try to make sense of it then you end up fooling yourself, but for now we have all been put in two but different streams

" Your in Class D right " Eric asked

" Yeah " I answered

"That amazing we can be friends and classmates"

' Highly unlikely ' I thought and picked my phorne from the table ready to leave him before he added "And I heard that the girl is also in class D "

All students had left for the exists just a few had stayed behind in small circles

" Let's go, " I answered taking the first step to the exists

" Quinn, you brat!" A voice cursed and powerful blow knock me off my feet

My foot wristed and I rolled to the center of the auditorium, I didn't see the person and he never let me recover form the first blow, or the fall as he was already on top of me sending one blow after another until my vision become blurry, every blow having a more painful impact on my face than the last

I could hear people stopping him as he was slowly pulled back stopping the blows

" Quinn! , come on you brat, get up, get up and fight me, huh?" he shouted as he was dragged back

I slowly got up on my feet, not seeing clearly but I could make out that a crowd had formed around us, the teachers where also close by and could see some objects moving forward in front of my face

" Jack your eyes, " I heard Eric's concerned voice muermer in the crowd

" Can you see my finger " A female voice asked moving the objects in front of my face

" Yes, am fine " I responded and closed my eyes, they were damaged but the last thing I needed was someone looking into my eyes

" You don't look fine, your eyes. they are bleeding " the woman strummed

" I said am fine " I added as a thick liquid found its way out and flowed down my cheeks

" How is he?" The vice principal asked her young voice extremely scared for me

" I don't know " the woman answered

" I.am. fine." a solid voice left my mouth and my eyes opened a dark purple color had filled it completely and the blood was gone

" Really, ?" she asked

" Yes Angela" I answered, a cold shive passes through her body and she was unable to ask any more questions and I walked by them to stairs and pick up my phone, .

She was silent for a second but finally recovered and announced " Okay then, if everyone is okay then let's go to our classes "

everyone moved to the exists and followed the teachers on the way I was dead silent and no one dared to approch until we entired the classes.

it looked like the auditorium just smaller, but enough seats for about forty students, red wood desks immediately caught the students as they walked in they went up five stairs and five chairs were stationed at each desk, a central podium with a teacher's desk I front of everything and board,

" Take a seat and we shall start " A woman's voice sounded and everyone moved taking random seats, I went straight to the back and settled down,I was the only one person at the table and everyone else where also very space which made the class look very abnormally spaced

" Am,. Excuseme ?" a soft voice sounded , which made me turn and look up " Is this seat taken ?"

" Not really, " I answered a little surprised that she wanted to seat next to me,

" Can I have it please?" she requested,she only looked my way once when we were in the auditorium and kept her face down so I knew shy and her voice only amplified that

" yeah, " I said and she slowly sat down as the teacher began her lecture
