It was a rather nice expensive restaurant at a top floor in an expensive looking building also.

On getting there, Ezra and Rolf exited the car while the driver drove off. He wasn't going with them. They reached the entrance, and were simply asked to provide the card they received earlier. After verifying, they could enter. These cards were their identity while inside the auction.
