Saying Goodbye?

*Natalie*

Walking into the kitchen of the pack house, I see Mrs. Morris. I am sure going to miss her when I leave. Already sensing my sadness, Lucas gently squeezed my hand for reassurance. Once we got close enough, Mrs. Morris turned around.

"Oh hello dear, I thought you was done for the day." Mrs. Morris stated, however once she saw Lucas and Kaden her eyes widened. "Pardon me, Alpha and Beta." She quickly said.

"You are perfectly fine Mrs. Morris. My name is Lucas, Alpha of Blood Moon and this us my Beta Kaden." Lucas said to Mrs. Morris with a smile.

"Mrs. Morris, Alpha Lucas is my mate. I am going to be leaving for Blood Moon tonight." I told her with a small frown.

"Oh Nat, I am so happy for you. Now you will not have to deal with the people around here. Believe me, Mr. Morris and I are contemplating on leaving as well. The way that you have been treated opened our eyes." She told me while pulling me in for a hug.

*Lucas*

Kaden: what are you thinking over there Lucas?

Me: trying to remember if there are any houses available. Thinking of asking the Morris's if they want to come to Blood Moon.

Kaden: really? Well, there is a house by the pack house that is also close to the river. I believe it us three bedrooms.

Me: Okay I am going to see what Mrs. Morris thinks. Maybe she can mind link her mate to come join us.

"Mrs. Morris, I have a question for you. Now I know you have always been there for Natalie and I could not thank you enough for that. But I was wanting to know if you and your would like to come to Blood Moon. I would be honored to have you join the pack." I told her sincerely. "If you want, mind link your mate to come here and we can discuss it further."

"Oh, my goddess! I will mind link him right away. I would love to join your pack, I have always thought of Natalie as a granddaughter, same as my mate." She excitedly told me, next thing we can see is her eyes glaze over. She was not kidding about getting a hold of her mate right away.

While Mrs. Morris was mind linking her mate, Natalie came over, stood on her tippy toes, put her hands around my neck and gave me a hug. What I heard next was sniffles, wait why is she crying? Did I do something wrong?

"Natalie, baby, what is wrong? Why are you crying?" I asked her while holding her close to me.

"I am crying because I am happy. Thank so much Lucas, you do not know how grateful I am that they can come to if they want." Natalie told me while she was still hugging me. Just as she pulled away, a old man came into the kitchen. This must be Mr. Morris.

Upon seeing Natalie, Mr. Morris opened his arms for her. She left my side and went to hug him. I could see in Mr. Morris's eyes that he did truly care for Natalie.

"Good evening Mr. Morris, I assume your mate has filled you in on what is going to be discussed. I know you two care for Natalie, and there us a three bedroom house in my pack that is close to the pack house and river. It is yours if you two would like to join my pack and be close to Natalie." I told him after I shook his hand.

"You are correct, Alpha Lucas, my mate has filled me in on what is going on. We have not liked how Natalie has been treated, and it has opened our eyes on what this pack is truly like. We would love to join your pack." Mr. Morris said.

"Alright then, why don't you and Mrs. Morris go and get the most important things now, and we can send for someone to get the rest of what you would like to take. Then we can meet out front of the pack house and hit the road. It will take about 5 hours before we get to Blood Moon." I told them, while holding Natalie close to me.

"Okay, come on hun. We have some packing to do." Mrs. Morris said to Mr. Morris while taking his hand. They practically ran out the door and to their car.

*Natalie*

I cannot believe he would allow them to join his pack. He really is something else. I am still wrapped up in his arms when I could sense Alpha Tyler behind us. I was starting to get a little scared by the intense emotions he was putting off. Lucas noticed how scared I was getting, and pulled me even closer to him.

"Alpha Tyler, how are you this fine evening. We got the okay from Beta Moore that Natalie will be joining Blood Moon." Lucas stated while rubbing his hands up and down my back, and giving the top of my head a kiss. That combination alone had me way more relaxed than I was before. However, it caused Alpha Tyler to let out a low growl.

"I am having a fine evening, and I am happy that Beta Moore gave the okay." Alpha Tyler said through gritted teeth. I, however, knew that he was not happy about this. And the look in his eyes told me that this is not the last I will see of him. I will just have to let Lucas know once we are at Blood Moon.

"Tyler, baby, aren't you coming to be? Oh, my apologies. I did not know you was talking to Alpha Tyler and Beta Kaden." Maria, Tyler's long time girlfriend said. Now, Maria is one of those girls that is conceited. Always thinks so highly of themselves and thinks lowly of others. She is 5'10" tall, flaming red hair, and grass green eyes. On the outside, she looked beautiful. But once you get to know her, she is a snake.

"Yes, Alpha Lucas is Natalie's mate. They are getting ready to head back to Blood Moon soon." Alpha Tyler said, the whole time looking at me, which made Lucas pull me behind him a little.

"Wait, you are telling me, Natalie has a second chance mate?" She asked no one in particular.

"You heard correct, Maria, Natalie is my mate." Lucas said with a little edge to his voice. Basically asking her to say something out of line.

"Well I am happy for you both." Maria said lying through her teeth. She then took Alpha Tyler's hand and dragged him off up the stairs.
