[Partner! live on]

Hearing those words, a boy woke up suddenly from his sleep and was sweating heavily. Those were the last words his trusted partner said to him before vanishing in thin air. The boy in bed is none other than Issei Hyoudou, the former sekiryuuti.

Issei was currently having nightmares about his dead partner, Ddraig. Nobody knew how Ddraig died, except for Issei. Ddraig sacrificed himself to make Issei live a happy life but life is so contradicting.

If Ddraig was here, he would have gladly died with Issei than to leave his partner in a state of agony.

When Issei finally sealed Trihexa, He was dead. When his soul started to disappear into the void, Ddraig made use of a forbidden technique to bring back Issei alive and the Sacred Gear in Issei's hand disappeared. From that moment on, one of the two Dragon Emperor's was no mo more.

When Issei returned, he was in bad shape as he lost Ddraig. His body became lean, dark circles formed around his eyes. His looks and health started to worsen day by day.No one cared, his friends stopped talking to him. His girlfriends looked at him like they were looking at trash. His buchou, Rias didn't even bother looking at him.

These things made Issei think that if he had done something to anger them. To make up with his girlfriends and his beloved buchou, Issei decides to gift with rings. One for each girl, with unique traits and color.

He foolishly worked with his deteriorating condition to earn the money for making the rings. He didn't quit even when he overworked himself. His determination was admirable but he didn't know it will one day turn into a mere Fools play. He started making those rings with his skinny hands even wounding himself in the process. After finishing them, Issei wanted to gift them right away. So, he peddled his bike as fast as he can to see his love, his buchou, Rias Grimory.

When he reached the club building, he saw a blond boy entering. Issei didn't think much as he trusted his buchou. When he was about to enter the building, his left hand started to ache. Ignoring the pain, Issei entered the building only to see his king, his buchou kissing the blond boy accompanied by akeno. Both girls were coiling themselves around the boy and kissing him.

This scene shattered his heart completely. The same happened with Asia, Koneko and Xenovia.

Tears rolled down from his eyes, He was feeling a stabbing pain in his chest. The only thing he could say was to call his partner.

"Partner"

The more he thought about Rias and peerage. The more pain he felt. The pain was increasing without a limit. The pawn pieces inside him started to react to his negative emotions and affect him by producing a black miasma.

Issei was hugging his chest and was screaming in pain. As he was screaming in pain, the place behind his plan started to glow in emerald and changed to pitch black.

[Partner, Be Strong]

[I may not be here for you, but I will make sure that someone will accompany you to the apex]

"Ddraig, Are you there?"

Even in that unbearable pain, Issei recognized his partner's voice and regained a glimpse of hope that he could reunite with his partner again.

[Partner, I'm dead. I shouldn't have revived you. Sigh~. I can't see you suffering like this Issei. So, I'll do one last thing and go without regrets.]

Hearing what Ddraig said, Issei started to bed.

"Partner, don't leave me"

"Please Ddraig, don't leave me as others did"

Before, Issei could say another word Ddraig started to chant.

Am the Heavenly Dragon who has stolen

the Principles of Domination from God,

I laugh at the 'infinite' and pursue the 'dream'

I shall become the Red Dragon of Domination

and shall sink you to the depths of crimson

purgatory and take you to the limits of white

paradise!]

Issei thought it was the usual chant for the juggernaut drive but he noticed the mix of Albion's chant.

Before he could ask, the chant continued.

[Heed my call,

Oh, Great Dragon Of Annihilation,

The Dragon who stands Beyond the 'infinite'

and above the 'dream',

The Black Dragon Emperor of Destruction,

Awaken!]

Following the chant, a loud dragon was heard. The pain inside Issei's chest intensified and he fainted.

A gigantic tear in space appeared before Issei.

A dragon with bright purple eyes appeared. It had a bright blue crystal embedded in its chest. Large crystalline horns protruding fro its shoulders and its bat-like wings. It had canine teeth and sharp crystal claws. It portrayed the true image of terror.

{What is your need for releasing me from the seal, Ddraig}

The voice of the dragon contained a soul attack that weak creatures would end up dead if hearing it.

[Help my partner, Bahamut. That's all I could ask from you]

{Hahaha...Interesting. You are practically giving me the powers that you and the white dragon protected from me. What made you do this? I'm curious, Red Dragon Of Domination.}

Ddraig couldn't help but think of what happened to his partner. Even summoning Bahamut causes a great calamity, he wants his partner to be safe and sound.

[Bahamut, my memories will be embedded in your mind once you turn into a sacred gear and help my partner. I beg you, Bahamut]

Seeing Ddraig, the arrogant Red Dragon begging him. Bahamut was curious and agreed to help Issei.

[I'll transfer the Sacred powers and my remaining soul power into you. Bahamut, please help my partner.]

{I'll help him and make him the conqueror of all}

Hearing this, Ddraig was happy.

[Then, I shall begin]

Ddraig transferred a green and blue jewel onto Bahamut. Then, he started to strengthen Issei's soul with his own and completely integrating the powers of the Sacred jewel into Bahamut, making him into a platinum sacred gear in Issei's left hand.

During the process, The pawn pieces inside Issei were completely expelled from his body and his body was strengthened by Bahamut.

When the process was completed, Bahamut's soul was completely integrated inside the platinum Sacred Gear within the pith black jewel.

Issei who was unconscious didn't feel the changes made in his body by Ddraig and Bahamut. The complete change from a Devil to Dragon was taking place.

Unknown to the world, a 'True Dragon' was being born.
