I finally found him...

Aalayah's POV

As soon as he touched my cheek I saw flashes of the war, it was from Alexes eyes. He was hiding behind a rock at the age of three because his parents told him to. He was peeking over the rock watching his pack and parents fighting and killing to protect him, and then I saw her. My sister, coming after me and my dead mate. The flash back ended there and I instantly hugged him "how- your still alive..." Alex looked at me confused. I picked him up and started flying up, I flew until I saw Lilac and Holden talking.

My eyes were watering as I started to fly back down to the ground "Lilac... it's him. It's really him..." Lilac and Holden looked at me confused along with Alex his eyes soon lit up "Can we do that again?" My eyes started to water even more as I hugged him. Lilac sand Holdens eyes went wide "you mean..." Lilac said I nodded holding him like it was the last time I was ever going to see him. "Why are you hugging me?" Alex asked confused "aren't you scared of me to?"

Tears started to roll down my face and I looked at him with awe "I am far from scared of you dear... you don't know how long I've searched for you" Alex tilted his head in confusion "why are you crying? Don't cry... why were you searching for me?" Greyson came jogging up to us "love are you okay?" He said touching my face wiping away my tears I laughed and sniffed "I'm fine, more then fine actually..." Greysons brows furrowed "I guess it's time I tell them our past huh?" I said looking at Lilac "I think It'd be easier for them to understand if you did..." I looked at Holden "do you mind getting Tyler?" He nodded his head then took off using his vampire speed, I turned to Greyson who was more confused than ever.

"what could you possibly tell us now?" He said I giggled "it's not just one thing, common let's go by the fire where no one can hear us. Lilac would you like to get Meredith theirs things we need to discuss with you too" she nodded and took off running. I picked up Alex and he wrapped his arms around my neck to steady himself. "What's going on? And who is Alpha to you? You seem to know him well" Greyson laughed "she's my mate buddy" Alexes eyes went wide with excitement "you mean this pretty lady is our Luna?" I giggled. "Alex you can call me Aalayah" he looked at me and smiled "you have a pretty name too" I brushed some hair out of his face and whispered "wait till you hear yours" he looked at me confused but I kept walking.

We made it to the fire pit and I lit it "wow you can make fire too?" I laughed "wait until you see what you can do" I winked his jaw dropped "you know what I am?" I smiled I was going to say I am what you are but decided to say it in front of everyone instead "yes, yes I do" me, Alex and Greyson sat on one log. Not long after Holden, Lilac, Meredith, and Tyler where here. "You guys might want to sit this will be a long night..." they all sat down and then I spoke "Tyler, Greyson if you have any questions ask them now because this will be the only time I will speak about this."

Tyler and Greyson exchanged looks then Tyler looked at me "finally. I can ask any question?" I nodded yes and he proceeded to talk "what the hell are you? And correct me if I'm wrong my brother and everyone else seem to think it's normal that you are... whatever you are..." I sighed "good question, I guess we'll start from there. I don't necessarily have a name for what I am like you guys do... but I can tell you what I CAN do like shift or do magic." Lilac looked at me "just tell them the things you can shift into or what you are already maybe it'll be easier..." I nodded "your right" I looked at Tyler then Greyson "I can shift into a wolf as you already know, but I can also shift into any animal I want so I'm kinda like a Sulpen fairy like Lilac... but all of my animals are either queens or alphas. That's part of why I'm a queen in the dragon realm...." I paused looking at Tyler and Greyson before continuing.

"So far I'm part witch, part vampire and I can do many other things... like show you memories or show you your future" I said glancing at Alex "I don't know if you've heard the stories when you were a kid about the Moon family or if you've been told to stay away from them... all the stories are true but you don't have to fear us... we don't harm unless we are harmed or if we've been hexed by another family member" I paused to see if anyone wanted to ask questions and then Greyson spoke "why does it have to be by a family member?" I sighed "now that's complicated to understand but I'll try to shorten it, the Moon family can't be harmed or killed and or hexed unless it's from a family member..."

Greysons brows furrowed "but your wrist is still bruised." He pointed out "right, that's another thing, you know how they said I'm hiding from someone?" Tyler and Greyson nodded their heads and I continued "I can't use crazy magic or she'll find me quicker, the smaller magic I use the harder it is for her to find me. I'm slowly leading her to me so I can end this none sense" Tyler looked at me mad "who the hell is after you and why do you have to hide from her if you can't be killed." He said protectively. This mate bond between me and his brother is working faster than I thought. "That's the problem. My sister is who I'm hiding from. Why am I hiding from her? My parents made a knife that can kill the Moons.." Tylers eyes went wide "why the fuck is your sister trying to kill you!?"

I sighed "it was my fathers fault..." I said trying to keep my cool "he hexed my sister because he wanted me dead... and stop cursing around Alex!" Tyler's jaw dropped. Then Greyson started to speak "your father... why does your own father want you dead?" He said hurt I know he felt my pain in my heart and that's why he said it like that "he wasn't a good man" I said with a sigh "not at all..." I looked down and felt a hand on my right touch my shoulder "don't cry..." Alex said "I'm not pumpkin, I'm not..." I pushed my hair back behind my ear and looked at Greyson

"who is Alex to you?" My eyes started to water from the fear that he'd leave me if I told him but I knew I had too. I sucked in a shaky breath "I had a different mate once... gosh was he great." I smiled at the thought of him "I knew him for four years and that's when she just decided to take him from me..." I trailed off "you don't have to tell them all of it." Lilac said I looked at her "no, I want too they deserve to know... especially if my sister has allies" I wiped my tears away and Greyson put his hand on my left thigh I smiled feeling a bit better.

"after the first year of knowing him we found out I was pregnant... we had the kids and we named them Silas and Xenia. Two years later my sister started a war" I sniffed "We told our children to hide because we were gonna play hide and seek together after they ran off into the woods we went to fight, we had no time to say our goodbyes we wanted them to be safe. I was in the middle of fighting off a few wolves with my mate behind me I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings and..." I huffed "I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings and the last words he spoke was 'watch out!' And the next thing I knew my sister stabbed him with the knife that can kill the moons... My heart was so sore and I was mad I... I wasn't strong enough. I had many red moons to come, I wasn't as old as my sister... so my advantages were low"

I thought it would be easier if I shared some of my memory, so they can get a better understanding. The fire in front of us sparked and made a loud crack noise and all of their eyes widened. Glimpses of my past started to show in the fire "When we have mates and we mark each other... they get the abilities we do so we can live together forever..." I said glancing at Greyson. I looked at Alex and paused "Alex... your my son..." As soon as I said that I started to have the metal taste In my mouth "Lilac... it's happening again- the red moon" I fell over next to the fire and log and started to seize with my eyes rolling to the back of my head.
