Masaru, in a daze, was reading the hidden quest he completed while subconsciously staring at the bodies, not even registering what just happened. He did notice the "rewards."

'Wait what?' Where is she?'

Masaru started to look for Aiko and in a matter of seconds finds her. Aiko was in the corner of the kitchen with a dead body lying next to her, tears being shed as she witnessed her husband murdered by the guards of the Empire.

Aiko looked up from the floors to see her son standing in front of her with eyes void of life, different than the ones she had seen in the past. Staying quiet, opens her arms wide and comes close to Masaru to hug him and silently cries. Masaru hugs back while staying silent. The silence was the only sound to be heard for a few hours.

SCP-625 are nocturnal organisms composed primarily of distinct sections from no less than seven different species of Rodentia. All instances have extremely sensitive eyes and ears and have two claws between 12 and 16 cm in length on each foreleg. SCP-625's saliva has revealed the presence of a powerful local anesthetic, which is produced by a specialized gland located in each specimen's body. Each instance of SCP-625 has a unique composition.SCP-625 is capable of surviving the majority of its bones being crushed and the removal of significant quantities of flesh without significant impairment for up to forty-five minutes. Specimens of SCP-625 may be subdued to bright lights or ultrasonic noise. When not in a subdued state, SCP-625 are hostile towards humans, when aware of a human's presence, they will exhibit increased strength and speed while also causing less noise than normal. If SCP-625 were to go unnoticed, they will use their claws on a human's ankle, when humans don't notice the cut on their ankle due to the anesthetic, they will suffer from severe blood loss.
