Chapter four: the talking armour

Martha and Micheal left the station and drove to abacus enterprises. It is big day for abacus enterprises, Abacus is launching a new product. Martha and Micheal entered the building and went upstairs. They entered a big room, there is a big screen in the room, the room also has a glass wall such that one can watch the event taking place below. " We read your posts on your blog and discovered that the dream you wrote about, has a connection to a particular writer's story" Martha said. " Who? " Micheal asked, Martha turned on the screen, and tuned it to Charles livestream, he is reading the following chapter , " him" she said " his name is Charles Wayne" ,they turned to the screen to listen, Charles read____ After Darius buried his sister, he turned to leave but stopped when notice a movement on the general's body. He took a step towards the body and saw the general's armour moved and opened an eye , he froze at this. " What is happening ?" He said to himself. "Geez, this is unbelievable, I can't believe that you killed him so easily " the armour spoke. Darius was beyond shocked. " Well whatever , you will take over from here then" and with that the armour left the general's body and wound itself around Darius's body. Darius screamed out of fear. " Hmmm your blood tastes sweeter than the old man's blood" the armour said. "What? What are you saying? you are drinking my blood? What are you anyways?" Darius ranted. " Calm down, one question at a time" said the armour, " what? How can I calm down? Get off me? " Darius shouted while trying to take the armour off his body, the laughed hard at this, " listen buddy you are stuck with me now, just calm down already?" Said the armour, but Darius kept panicking and shouting. Then the armour had enough "Okay, that's it" and with that, the armour lifted Darius body high up the ground and threw him to the nearest tree. Darius groaned in pain.

" Will you listen now?" Said the armour. Darius nod his head. " As you can see, l am a living armour" he began. " Which doesn't make any sense how can an armour be living" Darius interupted. " Anything is possible, anyway, you see l depend on blood to survive, that old man and l had a bargain. I become his impenetrable armour and l get to feed on his blood whenever l want to. But you have killed him now, so you'll automatically become my next host whether you like it or not" the armour explained. "Any questions" he said. "When are you going to get off my body?" Said Darius , " When you die" said the armour. " So you are planning on sucking me dry" said Darius in a statement rather a question, " Not exactly, although l can but l won't, it won't be fun that way, I'll only be taking small amount of your blood whenever l need it" the armour explained. " Fine, l don't have any choice anyway" said Darius, " yeah you don't " said the armour. " I have another question" said Darius. "Go on" said the armour. " Who is that old man" Darius pointed at the dead general. " Oh, that old man is one of Barcus's strongest general's" said the general ," not strong enough to beat me" Darius boast, " that's why he almost killed you" the armour said sarcastically. " So you were watching, why didn't you protect him?" Said Darius, " he wanted to control me, and l didn't like that, l just wanted to teach him a little lesson, so l unmask my invunerability and went to sleep, it was your killer stab that woke me up" said the armour. " If he was your host, then you know where Barcus resides right?" Said Darius. " Of course , l can take you there" said the armour. " Get up, you see that beautiful forest in the south west" said the armour. "Yeah l see it " said Darius. " We will pass through it, it is a beautiful forest with alot mysterious creatures inhabiting, once we pass through it we will find a big city behind it, Barcus's palace is just behind the city" the armour explained. __ as soon as Charles mentioned the forest and the big city, Martha reminded Micheal " your dream", Micheal nodded his head. Charles: in Barcus's palace, Barcus is absorbing power from the spirit stone. He is absorbing too much than he could take. And because of the collision of the positive energy of the stone and the negative energy in his body, his energy backfired and his body trembled, with an intense heartache, he lost consciousness . As soon as Charles said this, Mr Chen started to tremble on stage, " fuck" Martha cursed. Mr Chen held his chest tight and screamed in pain before losing consciousness. " Are you done son" said his mother, " yes mom, l'm done with the live stream" he said. " Alright then , l have prepared lunch, come downstairs " she said, " alright , l'm coming " . ' my mom will always be the best ' he thought before going downstairs to have lunch with his mom.

On the other hand, there is a big commotion in Abacus enterprises as the boss lost conciousness on stage during their product launch. Mr Andrew Chen was rushed to the hospital. Martha together with a few of the company's directors also went to the hospital. " Doctor how is he?" Martha asked the doctor as soon as he came out of the ward. " His heart condition is really unstable , his condition has worsen, something triggered the sudden intense heart attacks, but we just can't figure out what it is " said the doctor . " I understand , is there something you can do to help his condition? " Said Martha. " We have managed to stabilize his condition a bit at the moment" said the doctor. " Will he be alright?" Said one of the company's directors. " We are doing our best" that's all the doctor could say, " Okay , l understand , thank you doctor" said Martha. After a while , Mr Chen woke up, the first thing he did, was to call for Martha . "You are awake, thank goodness" said Martha. " Where is he" he said , " he is in the company " she said. "Have you discussed everything with him" he asked her . " Well l was about to before you had an heart attack, but he promised to do whatever we ask of him as long as we reunite him and his daughter" Martha explained. " That's good news then , have you gotten the girls pictures ?* He said. "Yes sir" she said. " Go back to the company , and tell him what to do" said Mr Chen. " Sir can we trust this guy , l mean he can't even protect his own daughter, " said Martha, " l have my reasons for choosing him , you , just go back to the company now" he said,. And with that Martha turned to leave, as soon as she closed the door behind her, Mr Chen sighed " l'm sorry Wayne but I'll have to kill your son just like l did to you" he said.

Martha got to the company in exactly forty five minutes, she went to where she left Micheal . Micheal was seated with his head down , he seems to be lost in thought, he didn't even notice Martha's presence in the room. Martha cleared her throat to get his attention but it didn't work, so she called his name and still got no response ' it seems he is lost in thought' she thought . She went to tap his shoulder and he jolted. "I've been calling you , but you didn't respond" she said, " oh sorry l was just lost in thought" he said. " Uh huh , l see, well let's get to business shall we" she said, " okay, let's get started, you said you know where l can find my daughter , where can l find her?" Said Micheal. Martha turned on the screen and she pressed the remote control and pictures of five girls appeared on the screen, " one of these girls is your daughter " she said. Micheal stared at the screen, he couldn't believe his ears. " Are you sure" he asked , " of course, look our company has alot of resources and connections, we know whatever we want to know, we even know about your super ability" she said and Micheal stared at her in disbelieve. Then she pressed the remote control again and satellite image of him attacking the van that was trafficking children appeared "You can throw at an almost impossible speed and energy, you can even calculate what to throw at and where to throw at any angle or distance, mighty impressive" she smirked , " we found others with special abilities just like you , and it was through our resources that we found that these girls are connected to you" she explained, " l don't mean to disrespect but damn your resources" said Micheal, Martha chuckled " these resources found out that these girls are connected to you, see if you can recognize your girl" she said. Micheal stared at the screen for a long time, " l can't recognize her , l can't even recognize my own daughter" he said sadly, "it's been six years, of course she is now mature than you last saw her, it's normal if you can't recognize her, and it is okay, we'll just run a DNA test on all of them" she said. " When will the result be ready" said Micheal , while Martha just fell silent and tuck her hair at the back of ear , " what do you want ?" Said Micheal
