An Ordinary Monday

Its just a Monday although to Loki its just like any other day this is only because too him every day is almost identical everyday Loki would skip school this wasn't because of anything out of the ordinary it was just that Loki had given up on life he could not care less.

It was 10 am and Loki sluggishly got out of his bed a slowly walked to his bathroom where he splashed some water over his face brushing back his brown hair.

"Well another day of doing nothing" Loki said as he sighed looking into his bathroom mirror. Walking down stairs Loki came to his living room where he sat down to watch the news. It had the usual headings for example "Tensions rise as 5 more A class power users are discovered " or "The global power arms race is speeding up"

Loki lived in a world which used to be ordinary but over the last 10 years people with powers have kept on appearing and the cause is yet to be known. Loki now stand after watching the news for 1 hour and looks out his window to see a group of friends walking together

"Heh well I wish " Loki began to put on his coat and lifelessly opened his front door ,As he left his house and began to walk down his street he thought of what he needed to that day. "So first I need to buy my food for the day and the check on James and then go to the mountains" Entering a store Loki Brought some food items and left for his friend James house. James was his only friend and this was only cause because Loki had saved James from an suicide attempt once before.

Finally he was here James did not live so far so it did not take him too long. Loki Began to knock on the door with a musical pattern . With James opening the door and responding with "I knew it was you who else would knock in such a strange way"

"Well i have to stand out some how in this crowded world" Loki retorted. In reply James said "And it takes you to go deep with the conversation 2 seconds in and I'm meant to be the depressed one" after that James smiled but Loki Could Tell How fake it is and wanted to pint out but he did not.

"Come On in" Said James with an inviting smile to Loki this one seemed more real. After 30 minutes of pointless discussion Loki was ready to leave for the mountains "So why Are you going to the mountains?" James asked which made Loki reply in response "Just because I'm bored ". "Well in that case let me go with you I cant let you go to the mountains alone"

"Well that s up to you if you want "Loki said with a exhausted look on his face. James Grabbed his coat and a bag and left to head to the mountains with Loki. Walking down the street Loki Asked "Is it fine for me to get a power level check up". "Sure "James cheerfully said. In this fractured world people with powers were only just being accepted but that was only because 1 in 4 people have a power but the powers are normally g class powers with only 20 people with A class ability's in fact James had a C class ability but he could not use it as using powers was punishable with 50 years in prison no exception. Only people with a license or the government could be allowed to use powers. Loki and James had now finally got to an ominous looking building and entered where a receptionist checked them in.

Walking into a cold dark room Loki sat on a cold steel chair where a doctor entered the room. "So just let me take a blood test and your fine to go " the doctor smiled but that just made Loki uncomfortable .Loki was never good with random people and when he met James he was also ver awkward but he did not want to seem disrespectful so he just said "Ok thank you".

With the blood test taken Loki left for the mountain's with James. "So what they say?" "Well they told me that they would call me when they get the results" ."I see" James replied. They Both were extremely awkward so they walked silently to the mountains.

It was night time and James and Loki has setup camp. James was sleeping while Loki Looked at the stars and then he saw it the moving star No it was coming towards him getting closer and closer untill...
