Meeting a Man

Mitsuna woke up in her bed at the inn.

Looking around and seeing her clothes on a nearby chair filled with holes, she fixed them up with a bit of Time magic.

Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, Mitsuna went back to sleep.

'I'm f*cking tired.'

While she was satisfied with the workout she got, there was the sword saint in question who was currently being treated by tens of High-Level healers and priests.

The damage she had sustained was tremendous.

Particularly Mitsuna's Rot was still decaying her body.

Even when someone would ask her who put her in this state, she remained silent.

...

A few days had passed, the sword saint's state had gotten better as the Rot was completely cleansed. Now she was simply resting.

Meanwhile, when the sword saint was putting up a fight for her life, Mitsuna just slept.

As the sword saint was eating her dinner, a man burst into the room.

"Miranda!"

The sword saint's piece of bread fell to the ground.

"What are you doing here Hendriks?"

"What do you meaannn?! I heard my sister was beaten to a pulp and cursed! Of course, I would rush over."

"It's nothing major."

"Who did this?"

"..."

"Miranda. Give me a name."

"It's fine. We both went a little overboard. Besides, she got injured a lot worse than me. I'd be surprised to see her still walking after that last one."

"Is this person still alive?"

"Just leave it, Hendriks."

"Miranda."

"Leave. It. You aren't the type to go after the life of a little girl."

"Little girl?!"

"Little Lady would be more accurate. Besides, where did you hear about this? Weren't you dealing with the conflict in the West?"

"Achillie told me."

"Achillie? What's he doing here?"

"I asked him if he could watch over the place while I'm gone."

"Ahh. Honestly."

As the conversation continued, Mitsuna finally woke up from her sleep.

Yawning and stretching, Mitsuna was greeted by a man with semi-long pinkish hair wearing luxury white cloth clothes.

Well, man would be wrong since he didn't look much older than Mitsuna.

He had a round face and grey eyes. His ears were sharp and big. A single canine tooth poked out of his mouth. He was wearing a mask that covered the top half of his face.

Slowly letting her outstretched hand down, Mitsuna covered her chest.

"I-"

Before the man could start, Mitsuna disappeared from her spot.

The next thing that the man could see was two feet diagonally hurdling towards him.

A thud, a bang and a crash.

Mitsuna did not give a regular response. As most would cover themselves fully and probably scream or yelp in surprise, Mitsuna would use a dropkick.

Putting on her underwear and her sweater, she feared that she didn't have much time.

Exiting her room, she saw how the mask had fallen off of the man's face as he held his head.

Before he could say a word, Mitsuna tackled him down again and held his neck tightly with both hands.

"Oi! There's a thief, a pervert and a robber in here! Get the guards!"

As she yelled, many people came out of their rooms. Some due to the yelling and others due to the loud crash and bang of the door and most of the wall being destroyed.

"H-Hey-"

Before the man could speak anything, Mitsuna shoved her forearm in the man's mouth.

"Shut it! Be happy I'm letting you live!"

As the owner of the inn, a nice lady came to check on the ruckus, they found a well-paying customer, Mitsuna holding down a man much bigger than her.

The owner asked an onlooker what had happened.

"We heard a loud crash and came out to find this young lady holding down that lad right there while screaming pervert, thief and robber."

"Oh, My."

Nearing the man who was being held in his spot, the owner slapped him across the face.

"You will be paying for the damages."

After calling the guard while ignoring the muffled mumblings of the man, he was taken in as Mitsuna was profusely apologized to.

'That guy. I wanna punch him again.'

Entering her room and fixing the door with magic, Mitsuna entered the bathroom.

Sighing, she thought to herself as she looked at her legs.

'I should have worn pants. How many random people saw my underwear then? Uhhh...'

Feeling her chest, she was still a bit shaken.

'Yeah... I should have gouged the man's eyes out. A girl, no matter how strong, should not be peeped on.'

Putting on the rest of her clothes, she checked herself in the mirror.

'God. Now I'm getting self-conscious. I look fine, I look great.'

She thought to herself as she lightly slapped her own cheek.

Leaving the inn, she received the condolences of multiple other inn guests.

Replying to them all with simple 'Yeah', 'No problem', 'At least it's settled now' and so on, Mitsuna headed towards the dojo.

Entering the building, she found the reception and began the conversation.

"Hey. Is the sword saint in?"

"Are you here for another challenge? The sword saint hasn't even recovered yet."

"I'm not. Just here to check how she's doing."

"It's better to ask you. You were injured a lot worse compared to her."

"I was? Anyway, since you know how much I was hurt, do you know who won?"

"Huh?"

"Who won?"

The receptionist sighed out loud.

"Well since you were out cold with the sword saint carrying your body, I'd say you lost."

"Che."

"The sword saint is currently recovering at a nearby medical office, she is being tended to by multiple priests and healers at all times."

"It was that bad?"

"The better question is how you recovered so fast? What miracle potion did you drink?"

"None. I just heal fast."

"Yeah right. Both your legs were shattered, one of your arms was missing, and another was burned and frozen at the same time. Almost all of your organs were punctured. Your face was half torn off for Pete's sake. You barely survived since you only had about 8% of your Health left."

"Damn. Really? No wonder when I woke up my clothes had so many holes in them. But wait. 8% when my body was as messed up as you described? That's crazy."

"...You know. I feel like you are either joking, not taking this seriously, or thinking that I'm playing a prank on you."

"Nah. You're overanalyzing."

"Yeah right."

"Well since the sword saint is doing fine I'll take my leave."

"Have a nice day."

"Oh. Before that though, when is the Sword Saint Festival?"

"In two days."

"Huh. Cool. Well bye then."

"Goodbye."

'So I just have to sleep for two days? Great. This time lock the room with a few spells and a cosy night's rest will be upon me.'

Mitsuna left the dojo and headed back to her inn.

After placing a few barriers around her room, Mitsuna went to sleep, this time she was still wearing her underwear.
