Is She Alive...Or Dead?

"You came back to me," Adrik mumbled under his breath, his eyes slowly beginning to tear up.

Leia arched her right brow at the sight of this and tilted her head to her side. "What…is wrong with you?"

"Nothing." He shook his head. "I am just…happy to see you again." He sincerely said and the bubbles of tears that had built up in his eyes broke.

Leia fluttered her lashes in bewilderment and stepped closer to him.

"What…were we in my past life? Who was I to you?" She inquired, curiosity glistening in her gaze.

Adrik looked at her and abruptly smiled. "My wife." He replied.

"W-wife?" Taken aback, Leia stuttered, that having been the last thing she expected. "I was married to you?"

"Yes." Adrik nodded.

She stared at him and a deep breath fled her nose, still trying to process the information.

"What…happened to me? How did I die?" She inquired, wanting an answer to all these questions.
