Gift

Ava walked looking around the market like it was her first time. Although this is her second time coming to the market, but this is the first time she came alone because Marta came with her the last time. She smiled at how beautiful the market was. lively, noisy, and filled with all sorts of things. She opened the paper to see what she is to buy. Emmer wheat, garlic, chick peas, and coriander seeds . "I should be able to get them from any store." she muttered then walked further into the market.

Minutes later...

Ava had gotten everything except the Emmer wheat, and most of the stores she went to don't sell it. 'strange..' she thought. She thought of going back home, but she remembered Marta will be needing it for cooking. left with no choice, she went to the last store she entered. "uhm.. sorry, please may I ask where I can get the Emmer wheat?" she asked politely. " I doubt you will find any today...but there is a store down the road by the left." the man who was at the counter said. "oh..thank you sir.." she said then turned to leave, but she halted when the man called for her attention. "I forgot to say, it is not a safe place to go to... I don't think you should go there." the man said, and he held a scary gaze. "and why is that??" Ava asked curiously.. " it is said to be hunted by ghost, and a mysterious person lives there." he said. "ohh..." thanks then." She said like she was lost in thought then walked out of the store. " Mysterious??" she thought. her curiosity was getting ahead of her.

yes, in her fortress they practiced magic, but she is not able to practice magic. She has passed the age her magic is to be awakened, but she don't know the reason it is not awakened yet. "go, don't go, go, don't go...ahh.." she sighed in frustration. she badly wanted to go and see what is so scary about that place, after all she's a Fae but she suddenly felt uneasy.. "what's going on?" She panicked, and immediately made her way home. she knows this feeling, she might not be able to do magic but she has the gift of feeling. Whenever she feels uneasy or her heart beats begins to race, it is either something bad has happened or something bad is about to happen. She hasten her steps as she prayed in her mind that nothing bad has happened. She is now getting scared, the close she got to her house, the more her heart race. she was few meters away from the house, she hoped everyone is okay... 'this one time, please nothing should happen to them, they are good people she prayed in her mind. her steps reduced and her heart beat increased. she can't hear anything, everything is silent... slowly she approached the house. she grabbed the door knob, and exhaled hard before pushing the door open.
