CH1 Backstory

Location:The planet Nessus

Area:The Glade Of Echos

Time:8:30 A.M. EU

On a crashed exploration shuttle on a planet called Nessus a lone ghost is seen flying looking for a suitable host to be a new guardian.

"Hey Failsafe how many crew members did you have?"

A male sounding voice was heard in a crew bay was located with a wide hole in the wall that leads to the outside of the ship.Soon a feminine Ai voice was heard from the floating thing in the bay.

"I had approximately 200,000 personnel and civilians on board my ship ghost"

"200,00 and still no suitable person! Damn talk about being unlucky."

"I'm sure you'll find a suitable host"Failsafe said and soon a snarky response sounded

"Or you won't.Hopefully it's somebody with a mature body and not a kid"

"I'm sure I'm not that bad and or desperate right now for choices"said the male voice

"Hold on I got a reading summoning a guardian"the male voice said

A slightly annoyed female Ai spoke"Hey ghost hurry it up I picked up a few patrols of Vex moving your way looks like high ranked guys,get out of there."

"On it thanks for the heads up Failsafe"said the male voice"

Soon a bright flash of white light shone in the bay and a humanoid figure is on the floor having just been revived and completely unaware of its surroundings

"Hey guardian get up we have to move!"

"Ugh my head what the hell is going on?"

"No time to explain Vex are on their way."

"The what's on their way?"

"Life like automatons that have sentience's that terraforms planets for their hive mind.Now get up and follow me we have to move NOW!"

"Fine fine I'm moving"

"Hey names-uh wait what was my name?"

"Mike your name is Mike.I'm spark your ghost.

"So what is happening"said Mike

"Your a guardian now and a Titan lucky you,a vanguard fighter and a nice defender best of both worlds."said spark

"Uh huh we're we heading? Should we be leaving now?"

"You are on the way to the armory there are still some guns left I see on the cameras in there."Failsafe added

10 minutes of close calls and walking later Spark and Mike make it to the armory

"Ok we made it Failsafe open the armory"Spark commanded.

"It's open"a snarky reply thrown back at spark.

"WOW that's a lot of guns I thought it would have been ransacked by the colonist?"Mike asked

"All the colonists died before they could even set up a village"Replied Failsafe.

After looking through most of the weapons and armor Spark and ghost proceed to talk

"Listen guardian and listen close while we are in here I'm going to explain what your abilities are and what you are capable of.You are a Titan high defense and attack power but limited movement.you use the light the source of your power from the traveler.Your light is split into a grenade a throwable explosive or healing that takes time to recharge,a melee that can boost your punches, and two unique class abilities yours as a Titan is a barrier you can decide wether before you deploy it a waist high or tall barrier."The ghost info dumbed

"Got it what's my last ability?"Mike said

"Your final ability is your trump card use it only when necessary because it takes a while to recharge. It's called a super as a Titan you have 5 subclasses they are like a ability type.Arc for electricity,Solar for fire,void for status buffs for Allie's and debuffs for enemy's,stasis for freeze and finally strand the newest found out subclass relying on constant damage and maneuverability,but the last two you need extensive training and discipline to use."

Mikes head precedes to steam like crazy from the massive info dumb put on him.

Soon a loud crash is heard as a body hits the floor.

"Oh boy probably should hold off of the aspects and fragments and grenade and melee types and-Never mind,Failsafe you have any armor that has heavy defense but can still move around in?"

"Yes I do it's in the armory still,check the back left corner that's were the armor is for heavy detainment forces were on the ship"Failsafe spurts out

"Sweet thanks,dang this stuff is of high quality can take a few hits oooooh golden age helmet and weapons should still work"as he gawks at all the stuff he still stores the armor and weapons in his storage for when Mike wakes up.

Soon spark notices a gold glow come from the corner as he gets closer the glow gets brighter and louder with every inch closer soon Spark examines the glowing loud item with interest.

"A EXOTIC ENGRAM HERE WHAT THE HELL"

Mike soon wakes up and catches the engram in his hands knocked over to him by Spark soon a weapon is replaced in the hands of Mike instead of the engram.

The weapon is a assault rifle with a sky blue primary color with a red secondary with a silver coating on the barrel and edge of the stock with a comfy grip and a X1.25 scope this gun is designed for medium to long range engagements.

"Finally the hud is up"Spark chirped "this is one of the many perks of being a lightbearers have it has a radar,your recharge times of all your stuff plus your ammo with a recital for your weapon that is a estimation on the spread of the weapon if fired from the hip through a scan,your life is also shown at the top of your hud I can heal wounds but revives take 10 seconds to work so try not to die in a fight,finally since your weight will be much higher than the other two classes of lightbearers the Hunter and Warlock you have a glide as a Titan with little hight momentum but a lot of horizontal movement."Spark info dumbs again

Soon the name a description of the weapon is shown through the hud.

A automatic assault rifle called SUROS Regime a small unchecked box is below the name labeled upgrade weapon

"Sweet so this gun can improve let me get a closer look"Mikes interest was immediately peaked he figured he could probably defend him self even better now.

SUROS has a Hammer-Forged rifling,with a tactical mag,and a hand-laid stock.something stuck out with the weapon as Mike looked at the other AR's he noticed two traits not on any other gun dual speed receiver and SUROS Legacy.

"The dual speed receiver made it so I can either have the gun ramp up in rate of fire the longer I hold the trigger or have the rate of fire slowed but damage increase if I aim down sights.Also the SUROS Legacy trait seems to be only available to this weapon I'll call it a intrinsic trait only for a exotic weapon it looks like the weapon will deal more damage and have a chance to return missed bullets back into the mag when below half the original capacity.SO COOL!"Mike said excitedly

All of a sudden armor was thrown on Mike and loud metal sounding stomps with robotic squeals were heard almost 1 mile away from Mikes location

"Mike we should leave for now let's look for a ship and come back when we are ready"Spark said worryingly as the sound of metal grew louder.

"Fine let's look for a ship"Mike agreed and both left the armory empty as the ship was now."

I'n the mountain range overlooking the ship

"Devil kell shouldn't we take out the new guardian before he gets too strong we can sell the ghost parts to spider for more weapons"said a mysterious voice

"No we will fight when the time comes for now focus on the task of keeping the Vex away.Now leave me be I must think"

"Yes Devil kell" said the mysterious voice

"Ghost on Nessus,"

A long sigh is heard

"Sigh"

" I don't have a good feeling the Vex will be too happy"

1)Kell:A leader of a faction I can't name yet it's a secret to those who don't know.

2)intrinsic trait:A special perk or ability a exotic gun has.

3)exotic:The highest rarity a weapon or armor piece can have always comes with at least one intrinsic perk.
