Wait! I got reincarnated again! This time I'm in a cyberpunk world... I still don't have cheats and my knowledge is useless in a cyberpunk world... frick... well I got a second chance, I won't waste it, I don't know how I died in my previous life but I'm gonna make the most out of this....15 years later... I died again... The third time, I'm in a cultivation world, I died at 15 years old again... The fourth time, I'm in a futuristic world, I died at 15 years old again... The 5th, 6th, 7th, 18th, 23rd, 55th, 68th, 132nd, 300th, 419th, 600th, 665th, 999th life... I kept dying and reincarnating and no matter what I do to prevent it, I kept dying the moment I turn 15 years old! Until I reached my 1000th life..... the moment I was born... within in the depths of my soul.. something felt different. =Update Schedule= Mon-Tue-Fri-Sat-Sun [2000+ words per chapter] Disclaimer: This is my first time writing an original story so be warned that there will be plenty of infodumps in the first dozen chapters because I didn't take this story seriously at that time, if I somehow finish this story, I will rewrite those chapters so it could become more reader-friendly.

Battle Between Masters

Author's Note:

Hello guys, the author here, I know most of you won't even bother to read this but I just want to announce that I will be starting a pat.reon tomorrow.

If you become a patron, you can read 15 chapters ahead, I've already written the chapters, I just need to proofread them.

So for those of you who made it this far and didn't drop despite the first dozen chapters (which I will rewrite in the future) being filled with nothing but info dumps, I am happy that you are still with me.

Now then, on to the story.

==========================

"Motherfu**er!"

"Is this for real?"

"He just punched the barrier with his skinny arms, how is that possible?"

"Aren't necromancers all physically weak?"

An upheaval among the champions in Turron Town erupted when the necromancer punches made the protective barrier shake.

Not only that, there were even cracks on it!

Albeit, the cracks were only small and wouldn't be noticeable unless one would take a closer look at them.

However, this revelation pretty much stunned every single individual present, even the three master rank champions of Turron Town were shocked as well.

"H-how?"

The town lord was the one that got the biggest shock, since he was the lord of the town, he was more familiar than most with how this tough this barrier was.

Wasn't this barrier suppose to last a week even if a master-ranked champion were to continuously attack it nonstop?

It was just two punches, so how could there be cracks on it already?

Unfortunately, Stewart did not have the time or luxury to be stuck in his thoughts for much longer.

"Stop him!"

The town lord shouted and launched himself upward when he saw that Riaz was about to execute another punch.

The guild master and the strongest knight, Salvador, did the same as well.

Three different color streaks of lights were swiftly approaching Riaz's location.

"Traceless Lance."

"Noble's Gold."

"Wind Arrow."

Similarly, three magic attacks were aimed at the necromancer.

Facing three different attacks from three different master rank champions, the necromancer responded in kind with an attack of his own.

"Shadow Ball."

A ball made of dark energy appeared in his palms, one that was much bigger than when he fought with Kent and fired it to intercept the magic attacks that were headed toward him.

*Boom

An explosion occurred that consisted of many different colored lights, however, the shockwave that was created due to the collision of their magic attacks caused the crack on the barrier to grow a little.

"Tsk."

The guild master clicked in tongue as he glanced at the crack on the barrier.

They had no choice.

They either had to let the enemy finish the execution of his punch or intercept it by throwing their magic attacks at him to stop him.

It was a decision that was based on the spur of the moment.

"I had fought super first-class master rank champions before, but his presence compared to theirs cannot be compared for some reason."

Salvador said with a grave tone.

The aura around the enemy that he felt was similar to a peak master rank champion but he got a strange feeling that the enemy's aura was far more oppressive than what he felt previously so far.

"Doesn't matter, even if we can't defeat him, we'll just have to make sure that he doesn't go anywhere near that barrier."

The town lord said, as drops of sweat were trickling down his face, he was the only third-class master rank present, meaning he was the weakest among the three.

He wielded a 2-foot-long scepter in his hands, it had an orange gem on top, one look, and everyone could see that it was made out of an artificial magic core.

He also had some protective artifacts all over his body, despite being the weakest, it was safe to say that the town lord was the most protected and the most dangerous among them.

Right now, the four of them were floating in the air with the assistance of the guild master's wind magic, it was only the guild master that was flying with his angelic wings.

Even the necromancer had to create dark wings on his back to fly.

Riaz, the necromancer, grinned as he eyed his opponents one by one.

"Gentlemen, what with the faces you are making? Aren't you going to welcome me inside? Is this how you treat your guest? kekeke."

Riaz said in a hoarse voice, unlike the tension that the three were feeling, Riaz seemed pretty relaxed.

"What kind of guest shows up with an army of monsters?"

The guild master replied while maintaining eye contact.

"Kekeke, I guess you have a point, if I get rid of the monsters, will you open this up?"

Riaz said while pointing his index finger at the barrier that covered the entire town.

"You think we're going to agree? You lunatic!"

The town lord yelled.

The guild master put his hand on the town lord's shoulder.

'Calm down.'

His voice rang inside the town lord's ears.

In response, the town lord snorted coldly and shot a look full of contempt, although he didn't like being ordered around, he was not insensible enough to fight with the guild master with the situation they were in.

The town lord remained silent and smacked the guild master's hands away.

"May I ask, why are you doing this? What is your purpose for committing such an act?"

The guild master calmly asked.

There was a saying 'If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.'

It was a quote written by a famous war general named Tun Szu in the ancient era.

The guild master was trying to get information out to the enemy as much as he could before they could begin fighting.

'I hate to say it but we don't know much about him right now.'

Other than the information that they received from Jacob and learning that the enemy they were confronting was a necromancer, the enemy's identity, was a complete blank for them.

The guild master thought while he hid one of his hands on his back while holding a recording device.

In case the enemy was to run away, he would be able to find some information about him after this event would be blown over, he was both delaying for time and was also trying to find out the enemy's identity.

Riaz knew what the guild master was thinking but he didn't call him out for it and introduced himself.

"My name is Riaz Mundez, a vampire lord, or should I add former behind it? And as for your question... I just need plenty of sacrifices so I could fix this."

Riaz said as he opened his chest to show the inside of his body, unfazed by the sheer gore and bloody display of the man showing his ribcages, the three gazed at the cyan-colored gem riddled with cracks.

Stunned, the town lord said in a trembling voice.

"A c-cyan m-magic core... don't tell me... saint rank?"

"No, his magic core is badly damaged, the magic power coming from him is only a master rank, no wonder the pressure around him was so oppressive."

Salvador said in a muffled voice under his helmet, if he didn't wear one, they would be able to see that he was profusely sweating right now.

They had never heard of his name before probably because the land of the vampires was too far from the town's location.

But it didn't lessen the shock that they felt to see that they were confronting a vampire lord.

What did the title of a vampire lord signify?

It meant at one point in time, the person in front of them used to be a powerful Saint-rank champion!

The strongest champion in the Doni Kingdom, the kingdom where the Turron Town was from, was only an International Master!

International Master, Grandmaster, and Saint.

A full-blown 2-level difference!

"I don't understand, how does 'sacrificing' the town helps in repairing your magic core?"

The guild master asked, it was obvious that he doesn't know about the existence of vile magic like 'Blood Sacrifice'.

Riaz smiled while he closed his chest as it slowly healed.

"You don't think that I don't know that you are planning to stall for time don't you?"

The guild master flinched and clenched his fist tightly.

He slowly pulled out his magic weapon from his dimensional bag.

A sword shrouded in yellow light appeared in his hands, it had a badass design with a golden wing on its hilt.

From its aura alone, most could tell that the weapon was not ordinary, and from the spirituality that it was giving off, one could immediately identify what type of weapon it was.

A master-ranked spirit weapon!

All three master rank champions from Turron Town had pulled out all the stops and were determined to fight off the enemy in front of them!

Riaz was not surprised that the guild master owned a spirit weapon, since his subordinate, who was now dead, had already gathered information about the strongest champions of the town beforehand.

"Keke, look at you, so easily provoked, well, if you win against my minions, I'll consider telling you."

Riaz said and snapped his fingers.

"Summon."

Three columns of dark energy erupted from the ground and slowly formed into three distinct figures.

A ninja!

A minotaur!

And an earth golem!

The three were stupefied when they find out that the monsters that the necromancer had summoned were master-ranked summons and there were three of them as well.

"What? What is going on? Why are there super strong monsters that appeared all of a sudden?"

The sudden appearance of three strong beings alerted the champions on the walls, the aura that they felt from them sent them chills.

"Attack."

Riaz pointed his fingers at the Turron Town's remaining master-ranked champions as he commanded his summons.

Black wings started to form on the back of the monsters as they flew upwards, with their red eyes and vicious glares locked on to their enemies.

A deafening roar escaped the minotaur's mouth and began charging with its sharp horns pointing at the trio.

As if they had already gone into an agreement, the guild master launched himself forward toward the necromancer at full speed.

While the town lord and Salvador went to fight off the necromancer's summons.

Magic power was being roused up inside their bodies as their weapons glowed in resplendent and dazzling light.

*Boom

Colorful explosions covered the skies.

The battle among the master ranks has begun!
