I took a deep breath slowly trying to keep it even and calm even if my heart was speeding up. I needed to keep calm. Whoever this was, would hear me if I did not calm down. I closed my eyes and thought of my mother, thought of my father, thought of Ollie, and surprisingly emerald eyes. I felt myself even a little as I waited for the door to open. I held up the leg of the chair and counted my breaths as the knob turned finally.
The man swung the door open and walked in, I had no time to study him as he noticed the fact that my chair was broken, and I was missing. He stopped and lifted his head, sniffing deeply. I closed my eyes quickly, opening them just as fast and he hadn’t turned toward me. I didn’t know if he was planning to shift but I couldn’t wait to find out. I moved forward and took the leg and shoved it deep into his gut. Crimson liquid spread from his lips, and I shoved him down hard to the ground, kicking him in the head to make sure that he was out.
