Betrayal

Wendy's POV.

I woke up in my hospital bed as I look at Aaron sleeping beside me. Mom entered the room and she looked glad that I'm alright.

"Finally your awake now Wendy." Mom said as Aaron was still sleeping like a log.

"What happen?" I asked. "You collapsed in the bar gladly Aaron was there and you've been asleep for three days straight now. You should be careful now especially that you have a baby inside." Mom said.

A baby, I see...

Wait, What? A baby?

"What are you talking about?" I asked. "The doctor told us that your a week prgnant now, so you did something with Aaron didn't you?" she asked.

I cannot deny the fact that we did had sex but it's kinda awkward to tell so I just shrugged. "You should patch things up now with Aaron." She said as I smiled sadly.

This is the part where the parents choose to patch things up for the sake of their kid. I hate him the most for lying and cheating on me but I cannot just let my child have a broken family like I have now.

"I will think about it." I said as she smiled sadly. "I'm sorry," she said as she starts crying. "We were selfish enough that cause you guys this problem." Mom said. What is she sorry for? Did she do something that I won't be in favor off? Mom look hesitant at first but it the end she told me everything.

They planned with Isabella to break Aaron and I in order for Isabella to have him alone. "Have you gone insane?!" I asked that woke Aaron up.

"I'm sorry," Mom said. "What did you do now?" Aaron asked as he look confused. "You almost broke our marriage just for that selfish act of yours Mom!" I shouted as Mom looked like she really regretted it.

"I almost lost my baby too!" I added. "You can leave now Mom," I said as she smiled sadly and left the room. God knows how disappointed I am right now.

Aaron's POV.

Weeks past and Wendy and I had chosen to forgive and forget about what happened. She's living with us now and Dad was happy to see that we fixed this marriage of ours.

To be honest I felt glad that Wendy forgave me and gave me a chance to prove myself again on her.

I was also securing Ela that she won't get pregnant about what happen to us last night. I cannot afford to disappoint Wendy again this time.

"What do you want to eat?" I asked but she didn't respond and just look at the garden since my room is in front of the garden view.

Honestly this was not my room I just changed my room here since I know that Wendy likes flowers a lot.

"I'm okay." she said and kept on staring the roses.

"What are you thinking?" I asked.

"Will we became good parents?" she asked as I smiled sadly.

"We wouldn't know that yet but I hope that we will." I answered as she smiled sadly.

"I was not ready for this, I didn't also expect to get pregnant by one night." she said. "I didn't remember that we did such thing." I said as she smirked.

"It's because you fall asleep." she said. "And I put back your clothes and act like it was all a dream. But to be honest, It isn't." she said as she holds her tummy.

"Hush, little baby, don't say a word,

Mama's going to buy you a mockingbird."

She starts singing as I sit beside her.

"If that mockingbird won't sing,

Mama's going to buy you a diamond ring."

A girl who grow up without a father and a boy who grew up without a mother.

"If that diamond ring turns brass,

Mama's going to buy you a looking glass."

We are now making a family.

"If that looking glass gets broke,

Mama's going to buy you a billy goat."

I just hope that this girl will love me like how I love her the most.

"If that billy goat won't pull,

Mama's going to buy you a cart and bull."

I just hope that nothing would change between us and this relationship will become more healthier.

"If that cart and bull turn over,

Mama's going to buy you a dog named Rover."

There are things that we might not have right now but our blessing came. I just hope I can be a good father for this child.

"If that dog named Rover won't bark,

Mama's going to buy you a horse and cart."

I may not be a perfect husband, Wendy might not be a perfect Wife but I hope that things will be alright along the way.

I was happy that she gave me another chance to prove my love for her but at the same time she doesn't show that much of interest in me right now.

Did I really broke her up?

"If that horse and cart fall down,

You'll still be the sweetest little boy in town."

If one day she will find comfort through my presense, if that happens I will gladly marry this woman again on church someday.

I want her to say I do to me with a full heart that she will be mine and I will be hers forever.

I look at her as she smiled at me, The only light in this room is the moon light.

She looked damn gorgeous right now.

Why did I even fall for her? She's just a commoner but I found myself pushing my life into her and wanting her to be part of me.

"So hush little baby, don't you cry,

Daddy loves you and so do I."

I will someday prove how much I love this girl more than myself. I will gain her trust again and prove to her that I am worthy as a father to our child.
