Research centre..
Chapter 31
Research centre !
Winter started to look for the diesel in the cars which were left in the streets . He took a can and filled it full and started to walk back to the construction site while looking for anything dangerous around here but he didn't find any so his journey was smooth and clean .
When he returned he saw all the loads were loaded in the truck and beside it there were two exhausted looking mark and Jonathan sat down weakly .
Winter came towards them and they immediately stood up .
"Boss we loaded inside her up and she is full now"
Winter almost stumbled down hearing his sentence . He couldn't help but look at mark and said seriously
"Don't use 'her' to the vehicle from now on"
Jonathan was chuckling silently which made mark confusion but he didn't dare to say anything seeing the cold glare from their boss so he could only nod his head .
Winter then said while giving him the diesel can
"Fill it up and drive it back to the base ."
Mark nodded his head first and soon he said in doubt
"Boss you aren't coming with us ?"
Winter nodded his head and said to Jonathan
"Since you are a level 2 you can go with mark and can deal any problems when you go back to base so you two go back . As for me I will go to bring back something from the research centre".

Mark and Jonathan modded their head and left
He first have to go for the research centre and also he had other ideas now .
Before Apocalypse he had some few friends which he always backed up to him . So he wanted to see how they are doing , if they are alive he hoped them to stay with him or if they are not he can only held a grave as their memory and kill some zombies .
Seeing the truck driving off he looked at the black duster beside him and hopped in .
Vroooom!
With a dull sound the car speed up to the research center . There was no sun but the heat Atmosphere was several times higher than before the apocalypse .
There was no other Survivors found here !
There was no sound , happiness or Sun
Only silence , despair and darkness.
But he was here traveling like a lone wolf , alone yet cold and deadly .

He traveled half way to the city hospital and stopped only when he is just two streets away from the research centre . The research centre was just a two streets ahead from the city hospital and he also wanted to see what's the zombies general up to !
The research centre was just for the so called researchers who expirements on various topics and fields . Honesty he didn't have any idea what's inside look like even through he lived in the west city he didn't have any contact with the research centre so he was also hoped to see what's inside it .
"Maybe some illegal expirements or fog filled with labs maybe even some zombies boss is there "
He started to have his own imagination but it didn't stop him from going in .
The door could be only opened from inside so he entered with another direction and that is to to break from the ventilator .
If it was before with humans little strength tbey couldn't achieve it but now he can easily kill a elephant with his strength now . He broke the ventilator and started to enter in it slowly with no need of making noises .
Who knows may be there will Mutant creatures inside .
From his experience the mutant creature are more intelligent and stronger than the zombies so he always like to be careful around them .
After fifteen minutes he entered the end of the ventilation . There was a handle below him so he opened it and saw looked through the gap.
He was in a storage room !
Seeing that there is nothing down below he abruptly jumped down .
" Seriously did they even clean the ventilation system "
His clothes were now all had dust covered which made look kinda funny . He didn't mind that much about it but he didn't have the habit of living in a dust so he hurriedly patted some dusts off .
"Looks like I need to go for a clothing store " .
He started looking around for the door and when he saw the door at his back side he went out .
A Fiber type optical glass rooms came into his view when he stepped out of the room . There were seven glass rooms like that and top of each of them had words written on it .
" Plantation , chemical, biology and ha ? They even have the expirements seperated labs! What a waste of moneys "
He went inside the first glass rooms and that was locked . But he didn't break in because there will be alarm clock installed on every lab if he did break in they he will get locked or trapped here and this noises may bring him some trouble .
So he went to the next room where it was unlocked . There were weird flasks with fog coming out of it with different liquids which made him difficult to even see what's inside this room . He just looked at the door and saw a transparent goggles which he immediately put it on .
"Night vision ha ?"
This made him now can ignore the fog and clearly see what's inside the fog .
He saw a few corpses and some lab expirements . Those corpse were all died in a strange way which made him frown and soon his expression changed that of a shock . Because he saw stats showing on the dead bodies which made him immediately knew that something was wrong here but it was too late .
BANG !
Even through his reflex were faster he get ended up unconscious from the hit .
A heavy object slammed at his head which made him immediately pass out . But before passing out he saw several footsteps and a weird looking foot .
This was the last thing he saw before he passed out .
A rough voice said to the group of 'corpses'
"Get up . He is fainted so tie him up before he wakes up "
"Yes"
The group of 'corpses' started to execute their work assigned by the rough voice .
