Recruitment!

His base needs some potential workers for his base . Even through there will be more FUNCTIONS and system skills he needed some guards and graduated professions to work for him . As for the requirements they should be loyal and potential to obey what he orders . He knew after the apocalypse trust and loyalty is hard to come by oy greed and selfish works here but he still had one thing which make people work for him ;

Strength and resources!

That's enough for him to make these four people work for him without any trouble .

He looked at them and said seriously

"Tell me what can you do if I hire you?"

These question surprised them and next moment all of them excited to the peak . The short girl said with disbelief tone

"Y-you are willing to hire us ?"

Winter said coldly "That's depends on what can you do!"

The strong build boy said first

"My name is Jonathan , Im nothing but into athletics and I even won first price in boxing so I'm good into fighting ".

The second person was a thin guy with viper like gaze . He said with hesitation

"I'm mark , I know how to drive all types of road vehicles and I even know some construction field experience for three years" .

The third person was a slightly a dark skinned and plump who had a honest look on his face . He said with some hope and fear

"I'm a college university student from mechanics construction field . I can repairs vehicles and know how to construct drones and basic mechanic"

Winter immediately asked him in surprise

"You know how to create a drone?"

The plump man nodded heavily and replied quickly as fearing that winter won't trust him.

"Yes Yes . I truly know how to create drones as long as there are equipments related to it"

Winter nodded his head in satisfaction from acquiring a talent . Even through the drones Dosen't have that much use in base but when he travelled outside it will be quite useful for him to scout the areas.

As for the short haired girl she said with fast phase before he could even ask about her details

"My name is breta , I know how to do all house works and Im even an internship in planning "

When they all introduced themselves and theri works winter was obviously silent and he didn't stop them in middle but only listening to their words . When they all done introduction themselves winter nodded his head , satisfying from their answers . He said to them while looking at their eyes deeply .

"Good your answers satisfied me very much . I will give you works based on your skills and in exchange you will protection and foods until you want to leave the base you can stay in my base . What do you say ?"

Hearing this the four of them filled with happiness and joy but the next sentence from winter made them ice cold and fearful.

"If you ever betray me or do something which makes me unhappy ...I don't mind making you disappear from this world !"

As he said that his aura become bloodthirsty which made all of them take a step back with pale face.

After seeing their reaction winter nodded himself and said

"Rest assured as long as you do your work properly you will have a good future amd since you guys don't have any fighting expirence or abilities you only drag me down so I will assign you some simple works first and after that you may decide yourself what you should do in future. Am I clear ?"

All of them nodded their heads indicating that they understood what he said which made winter satisfied and he started to give them works without hesitation .

"Jonathan since you are a athletics ,you should know be quite strong enough to be a fighter . Why don't you travel with me to kill zombies may be one day you can awaken your own ABILITY?"

Jonathan immediately nodded excitedly "sir I also want to kill zombies and awaken my ability so I will be your care from now on "

Seeing his excited look winter was amused. He looked at mark and said

"You may be burden of you come with us in fighting so you will be our driver . Next time come with me to drive and in your free period go assist breta in planning "

Mark immediately issued a miltiary posture while saying solemnly

"Sir yes sir"

He didn't want to fight the zombies but instead he felt it's k to be a driver and saty in safe place with foods for survival so he didn't have any complaints.

Then he looked at the third youth who was a plump and honest looking . He didn't know what's his name was ;

"And your name is?"

The plump youth said "sir you can call me Carmel and I will help as long as it involves in mechanic's and I'm always loyal to you if you take good care of me "

Winter was speechless . These fatty said everything before me what a nutty! He deliberately gave a cold glance at the fatty which made him avoid the eye contact.

He looked ta the breta and said with cold tone

"Since you are well expirenced in planning then make a plan of the base while try to make plan some long tower staircase structure at the four sides of the base where people can stand there for guard purpose. You know right?"

Breta repeated what he said and nodded heavily after that

"Yes sir . Tommorow you will get that plan ready"

Hearing this he was surprised ! This fast? But it's ok for him to anyway .

He then said to them while looking at each of them

"Now are you all satisfied with my work ? If you don't then you can leave now ! I won't stop you but if you agreed then you should call me boss from now on"

The four of them looked at each other and after hesitation they replied in union

"Yes boss we will work for you" .

Hearing their agreement he smiled and said

"Welcome to the STRONGHOLD ladies and gentlemen . It may be your future home ...."

As he said he commanded the system to open the door .

CREAK !

when they saw the STRONGHOLD they were petrified from awe and wonder .

Seeing their surprise winter smiled and started walking onward .
