seeing the notification he knew he is safe thanks to his high level and the rough voice man had low level so the system easily blocked the ability.

He inwardly thought

'The system has some godly abilities . Why didnt it introduces it's all ability in first time . It's will give me heart attack sooner or later ' .

But he acted like he was being controlled. When the rough man saw that winter had a confused expression he thought that his ability worked on him so he didn't even bother to check it and directly started to ask questions .

The rough voice man said slowly

"Whats your name and where do you come from ?"

Winter slowly replied but inwardly he felt goosebumps appearing on his body.

"My name is winter and I live in outside of the city"

The rough voice man said

"How did you arrive here and where did the military people go ?"

Winter said slowly

"I just hid at my home and only started to search for foods but I bumped into he military people but they didn't say anything and left in a hurry into the city hospital " .

The rough voice man now said in angry tone

"Those bastards they took out all our research datas that we hard worked from 20 years and soon they will know that professor lunatic is behind all this expirements . We have to leave this place and travel to another city "

Winter was listening quietly , trying hard to gather more information around here but ended up getting more questions . Evn through he didn't understand anything but one thing for sure is that this person should be professor lunatic and he is conducting illegal expirements and the military started to hunt him but the twist changed because of the arrival of apocalypse which made both party hide in fear .

Winter deducted that the military captain he met at the city hospital have taken the research of this person which made him go made and judging from the situation they are going to evacuate from here .

This may his own deduction or it may be the reason but what matters the most is to see what's this person up to.

Professor lunatic looked at winter and clapped his hand twice.

Winter knew that it means that the mind control ability is done so he pretend that he came out of trance now

"What did you do to me ?"

Professor lunatic said with a smile that not smile

"No need to be afraid because your value will only increase when you are alive so I don't want my subject to die easily "

As he said went outside then said to the people past him

"Bring him to the lab . We will will test the F -110 today "

The people behind him said respectfully

"Yes sir "

As they said two of them held winter and started walking towards the laboratory.

Winter didn't panic because he can easily take care of these people since they are all at level 2 most and as for the professor lunatic since his ability is weak now he can kill him easily but the problem is that he didn't yet find the weird looking foot Creature yet so he didn't know when to take action but ultimately he decided to wait and see.

They soon entered a basement which was filled with weird equipment and strange fluids . He even saw some organs were stored in those fluids and most of them were humans .

Professor lunatic was now holding a small inject gun while the fluid content was in purple colour . When he just focused on it curiously a notification popped on it .

Seeing this he knew that this thing might be the reason why those military truly after that . These side effects can make people dont want to have any contact but some crazy people don't mind as long as they can have strength . He knew that this people using him as a test subject to know whats the result of this drug but sadly winter didn't have interested in being lab rat .

Professor lunatic said to winter

"Don't worry this will make you feel heaven "

Winter thought inwardly 'maybe directly to the heaven'

The two people holding him tightened his arm so that he won't escape but they didn't know that the winter was not a prey but a hunter who is ready to pounce on them .

When the professor lunatic started to appear near him with those red eyes and crazy laugh he was truly annoyed.

He looked at them and gave a mocking smile .

The professor lunatic laugh froze because the next moment a sword appeared in the hand s of winter and he twisted and slashed at the two people who failed to even react .

Two corpse fell on their own blood.

The three people and professor lunatic looked at winter in shock . They couldn't help but point at him and say

Winter looked back and saw professor lunatic calm face which made him immediately knew that he was up to no good . He didn't want to kill these man because he had deep knowledge and knows more about the ability awakening than him so he wanted him to keep alive .

Professor lunatic said in cold tone

"It's look like I undersimated you from the beginning since no man is daring enough to travel solo in the apocalypse . It's look like my arrogance and confidence is the mistake of my failure " .

Winter gave him a smile and said mocking tone

"You should just answer my questions if you don't want to die in pain"

Professor lunatic laughed loudly and said

"Do you really think with your little bit of strength you can keep me down here ? Hahahahahah "

Winter had a very bad feeling about it . As expected the moment he looked at the professor lunatic , the later took a remote and crushed into pieces at the same time he gave a loud whistle .

" SELF DESTRUCTION WILL START IN 2: 59 "

when he heard the Robot voice from the research lab he knew that this lunatic planted a bomb to destroy everything here so that no one will have any clue regarding him.

Winter couldn't help but say to him

"So you are going to die with me ha ?"

But professor lunatic chucked and said

"Nope but you will"

As he said a lift emerged from the floor and he entered in it .

The floor closed along with the lift .

He couldn't help but swore angrily.
