When they entered the base they were amazed by the large empty space and a tall stone cladding building which gave the impression of a tall tower like structure. Jonathan couldn't help but lean closer to breta and said softly

"You didn't tell me that this might be a military base rather than a food factory" .

Breta was also puzzled and said "this is my first time seeing this place too . I never seen this place but my father mentioned that he worked in a food factory as a manager "

Mark said with suspicion tone "may be your dad didn't tell you the truth ? He may be some secret agent who is working for government ?"

Hearing this Jonathan replied speechlessly "you have read too much novels "

Breta shook her head and said seriously

"My dad never tell lies about his work like that so this base must be either new built or the boss is same as you who have addicted to science fiction movie so he built his company as a base "

Hearing this Carmel thought

"Since when did government gave permission to build like this " but still he shut himself without saying anything but following around them silently .

Even through this people talked silently how can they knew that winter heard everything what they have said since his senses became sharp when leveling up . He sighed in relief knowing that they didn't have doubts about his base .

A anxious and pleasent voice broke his thoughts .

"Mr. Winter you came back ?"

Sally was standing at the main hall with a worried face but after seeing winter was fine she showed relief .

Winter said softly

"All I did was just go for the city hospital not to fight those zombies so it's just a simple task"

When the four of them heard this they were wide opened . Especially Jonathan since he knew how strong the zombies are there and if this person can walk through them and return safely then this person might be a ABILITY user !

Jonathan felt excited that he could work with a ability user which may help him in awakening his own abilities in future .

Sally was about to say something but when he saw the four people she couldn't help but ask in confusion

"Mr . Winter these people are ?"

Winter them remembered he didn't say anything about this four people to Sally so he said hurriedly

"These four people will work for us from now on so miss Sally they will depend on you if they have any questions . Can you help me manage them ?"

Sally immeadiately nodded her head and said gracefully

"Since I'm living with here of course I should help you with something . You can rest assured I will help them with their work".

Winter felt satisfied and turned back he looked at the four people and said

"From now on you guys will work for miss Sally and if you have any request or need resources ask her she will give you it as long as it's value is not high" .

The four of them hurriedly greeted Sally .

Winter then said to them

"Go pick your rooms at the first floor and you only need to do your works properly other wise ....."

His meaning was clear !

The four of them shivered slightly while Jonathan was better he said

"We will do our best boss"

Winter nodded and said

"Dismiss"

All of them went away while Sally and winter was only two left remaining in the hall . Winter sat down while exhaustion filled him up , seeing this Sally couldn't help but ask

"Mr . Winter you are injured why don't you rest for a while" .

Winter closed his eyes and said "I didn't get injured but I'm feeling slightly fatigued due to the travel "

Sally then changed the topic

"Mr. Winter what's the situation outside there ?"

Winter opened his eyes and his face was now serious . He said solemnly

"The situation is bad , I even saw general level zombies around the city hospital and it was gathering zombies in large number".

Sally suddenly asked in confusion

"Mr . Winter what's general level ?"

Now he realised that they don't have a system like him so they don't know what's their level and type . So he could awkwardly say some bull#its

"It's some stronger zombies with a basic Instinct that's all" .

Sally said again " you mean intelligence ?"

Winter thought for a moment and shook his head

"No more like a basic recognition or something less like intelligence"

Sally didn't ask anything but silently stood there with her own thoughts .

After a while winter said

"Miss Sally since you are from the biologist expert do you have any tips about my base future development ?"

Hearing this Sally was stunned first and remembered that this person wanted to have his own territory so she soon thought for a while and said

"Since this base dosent have any lack of foods supplies what we need is some guards and workers , we also need to make sure that they aren't greedy and spy to others "

Winter nodded his head and thought for a while

"What makes miss Sally think I can find these people who are loyal and aren't greedy in this current time ?"

[Current time : he is saying about after the apocalypse ]

Sally said after thinking for a while

'' that's quite hard but I think for food these people may try to be obedient ?"

Winter shook his head and said

"No only strength can make them fearful and obdient "

Sally frowned and argued "Dosen't it make them unrest and have malicious intent towards you ?"

Winter chuckled and said " you think they won't have malicious thoughts even if I'm not cold and strict? Who doesn't want freedom ?"

Sally was once again silent maybe part of her agreed with it .

Winter again closed his eyes and soon his thoughts all started to reconsider all his days expirence . Seeing the huge zombies hordes and the powerful Mutant zombies he knew he should level up fast and unlock the STRONGHOLD function .

Especially the mercenary FUNCTIONS which is ultimate weapon to keep orders when he had more people .

Just as he was about to lost in thoughts he heard a notification from the system .
