Night warning !

Chapter 12

It was close to night !

Winter needed last resources for his POTION so he didn't want to take risk but to find RESOURCES first and then leave here safely without encountering horde of zombies .

The floor was quite a mess all things were broken and laying down on the floor with dark blood spilling here and there , with no lights in the room . He barely saw anything but it couldn't stop him from obtaining the resources .

After some time of searching he finally found something important

'Found it'

He stored the resources in his backpack and immediately started to make POTIONS since he has plenty of time now .

[INVISIBILITY POTION - CAN BECOME INVISIBLE FOR 5 MINUTES AND IT WILL BE DEACTIVATED IF ONE RECEIVES ATTACK OR VIVE VERSA .

[DE BUFF POTION - THE TARGET GETS -5 ALL STATS FOR 1 MINUTE .

COOLDOWN: 1 HOUR ]

[POISON POTION - THE TARGET GET CONTIOUES POISON DAMAGE OF -5/ SECOND FOR 10 SECOND .

COOLDOWN : 1 HOUR ]

PROGRESS 1: 30

TOTAL TIME : 29 HOUR 59 MINUTES ...

He gave the task to system , Then he went back to room to spend the night here and bring the mother and daughter pair back to his base tomorrow and he also wanted to see what's the new function of STRONGHOLD .

He went to the Sally room and knocked the door while asking politely

"Miss Sally we will depart at tommorow morning plz be ready at that time "

The door opened and Sally wearing a white coat came out . She looked at him in caution at first then she replied after confirming that he didn't have any bad motives .

"It's okay Mr. Winter we will be ready at that time and thank you for taking caring about us"

Winter just nodded and went back to his room . He laid on the bed and after some time he closed his eyes and slept .

Night 11 : 54 PM

It was Night ;

The hall was silent and dark where occasionally chilly wind would pass through the door gap which made winter slightly uncomfortable .

He didn't like this Atmosphere where it made him feel creepy for some reason . He couldn't sleep so he was about to go outside the room to see any zombies lurking out there but suddenly he heard a creaking sound coming from the stairs .

Due to constant level up , his senses become sharp and in this silence Atmosphere he could clearly hear the sound .

The hand which he was about to open the door stopped , he held his breath and waited patiently to hear what was that sound.

CREAK!

The annoying sound was getting near which made him uncomfortable . He silently equiped the sword and tried his best not make noises which may attract that thing outside his door .

He slowly bent down and looked at the small key point hole in the door knob to see what was that thing making noises.

The thing was getting closer and he clearly saw something that made him gasp .

A three meter giant !

His unsteady breathing made the giant look at his direction!

It had no eyes !

He didn't think anymore but his body automatically rolled aside instantly .

BANG!

the door was riped to pieces .

"Thank god my reflex were good "

He looked at the 'creature' head which showed it's title .

[ HUMANOID GIANT (ELITE )

LEVEL : 10

HEALTH : 100 %

SKILL : HEAVY BASH , KEEN SENSE ]

It was an three meter ugly giant with no eyes . It's mouth covered more than half of its face while it's sharp long fangs were grinding against each other . It held a heavy hammer which was filled wih blood and torn flesh stuck in its spikes . The giant hammer size was even more than the giant height which made it even more terrifying.

He took a deep breath and tried to look for his sword which he lost when he rolled aside . For his unlucky it was at the giant side he could only try to grab and fight the monster since he couldn't escape now .

The giant swing his hammer at him without hesitation but due to the weapon it carried was heavy so its ultimately slow to the winter eye .

He dodged easily and took the sword while once again dodging another strike he stabbed the sword to the giant abdomen .

[DURABILITY OF THE SWORD -1 ]

Hearing the notification he cursed slightly in his mind but his body reflex was fast which dodged the stomp from the giant .

But these stomp made the floor shake which caught him off guard , as a result he tumbled slightly .

"Fu*k "

But it was enough to be fatal misstake in fight and the one with huge strength difference in enemy.

He knew he messed up but it was too late to dodge since the giant hammer was coming directly at his head which resulted he couldn't dodge now or use his skill .

"Am I going to die ?"

He knew he couldn't resist the attack which was quite powerful but he still hoped that a miracle would happen which would stop the attack for just a second so he could dodge .

Looks like his prayer was answered a miracle truly happened .

A large number of vines caught the hammer for a second and a soft anxious voice made him awaken

"Hurry up dodge "

The vines only stooped the giant hammer for 1 second but that's all winter needed , he rolled twice and reached outside and stood up while holding his sword horizontally he said to the person next to him .

"Thank you"

The women replied hurriedly "No need it's what I should do "

Winter looked at the giant monster and said to her without turning back

"Step back and provide support let me deal with it but don't come too close to the monster range !"

Sally nodded her head and replied " Be careful "

That's right it was Sally who helped winter now !

Sally who had a control ability of plants !

But it's looks like she will be a great use to him in this battle !
