LONE JOURNEY (1)

Dawn 5: 45 AM

West city ;

There was no sunlight or daily human activities going around , now only endless silence and gloomy Atmosphere ruled the ruin city.

The city was full of ruins, the once beautiful city turned into a dead ruins in a single day . Even through before apocalypse he was busy about his work he still had some good attachment to this city but seeing the current situation he could only sigh in sadness . Even through there was no sun and the sky was covered with dark clouds the surrounding was strangely bright and clear he suddenly felt that something wasn't right .

There was something going on here!

There was no zombie around here . The west city had population of 100,000 and if everyone turned into zombies atleast they will roam around here and there but he almost covered three streets yet he didn't notice any zombies.

"Something is wrong I better complete my work fast and return back immediately"

He didn't relax his guard but become more cautious while walking he noticed some one or more zombies who were walking around the same destination as him . This made his heart sank to the bottom . When he was busy moving he was noticed by zombies but they didn't attack him like crazy instead they ignored him.

Yes they ignored him and walked towards the centre of the city .

He didn't know what to do now about this peculiar situation. Since the whole zombies are going to the center of the city he couldn't help but hesitate about his plan . But the allure of last potion made him grit his teeth and proceed according to his plan .

When he was walking behind the zombies he thought of an idea and equiped his new sword which he brought since he broke his old sword from fighting the elite monster .

He immediately started to attack them .

But there was no response even when he cut their heads . The others zombies ignored him and moved forward . These zombies were all level 5 and 6 he didn't leveled up even he killed 10 of them which made him depressed .

"Leveling up is getting difficult day by day"

He started to look for more stronger zombies and he found some level 9 zombies .

"Gotcha"

He swung his sword horizontally across their necks .

With one swipe he beheaded three level 9 zombies . He didn't wait but started to kill stronger zombies while ignoring weak zombies .

This was like a free exp !

After 10 minutes he heard a notification

[DING ! YOU HAVE LEVELED UP TO 12]

Hearing this he stopped killing and took a deep breath to calm down . He took out his map and looked out his current location . He already crossed dozens of streets so he is only two streets away from reaching the city hospital so he stopped following zombies but instead looked went inside one of the house .

He made a plan since he didn't know what's happening to the zombies out there so he can only retreat and see from far .

When he opened the door a rotting smell fell to his face which made him frown uncontrollably . There was a corpse and a dog was feasting on it .

More like a big wolf than dog!

The mutant dog had big mouth with sharp teeth and it's eyes were red while long spikes were coming from it's limb and body . It abruptly raised its head seeing winter standing there , it growled at him and started to run towards him.

Winter could only curse seeing the mutant dog pounce on him.

"Oh sh@#"

NOTE : NOTHING WORTHY BUT THEY WILL ONLY TRAVEL IN GROUP. ]

He equipped his sword and swung with all his strength at the pouncing mutant dog .

PUÇHI!

the Mutant dog body was separated in two and became meat paste . Seeing this he didn't dare to relax but slowly looked at front and next moment his hand trembled and blood force .

Four more beast were looking at him growling madly .

NOTE : LEADER OF THE PACK ! CAN SUMMON HIS NEARBY MINION IN DANGER. ]

Seeing this even through he was level 12 he couldn't help but broke out in sweat facing their attack . He didn't waste any more time and charged at them quickly.

He moved in fast pace .

Dodge ! Slash ! Dodge ! Dodge ! Kill!

One down three more to go .

When a beast pounced at him he used his sword to block and he was stepped back a little bit he was still holding on with his sword . He turned the sword and slashed with his strength .

The beast was only level 9 so it died imeadiately. But the another beast bit his shoulder .

"F#k"

He slammed at nearby wall which made the beast released him from biting . He didn't attack but instead dodged at his side .

The leader mutant dog Missed him by a inch .

Two down two more to go !

He didn't hesitate to use his mele ranger skill.

[ONE PUNCH - GATHERS ALL YOUR STRENGTH TO YOUR RIGHT HAND AND THROWS THE PUNCH TO THE TARGET AND THE TARGET CAN'T DODGE THE SKILL .]

BANG! BANG!

It made the level 10 beast head burst out while the level 11 beast became crippled .

He equipped his [Bow and Arrow] and shot at its head .

HEADSHOT!

"Sigh!"

The beast was dead ! It was truly another life and death fight but since he was one level higher he won by a bit .

[DING! YOU HAVE LEVELED UP TO 13 ]

hearing this notification he felt slightly happy but he didn't get any SOURCE since this beast was only a normal one unlike elite who can give SOURCE.

He took some apples to heal himself and moved towards stairs . The building was only two floor and he didn't find any zombies or other mutants as he arrived at the roof .

"hmmm...?"
