The library was just a two floor building with lots of bookshelf and tables around the corner but there were no presence of lights so he couldn't see clearly and he didn't want to alarm zombies by switching on the lights, So he could only search around the dark slowly .

" Damm I should have brought a torch or something "

Even through he was slightly stronger than ordinary people it doesn't mean he is invincible . He has limited power for now but still that's enough for this situation .

He didn't dwell about this anymore and went for searching the city travel shelf where all the maps and information are located there . Thanks to his increase in strength , his eyesight can see better now which made him found the travel shelf books easily .

He looked at the hundreds of book with quite headache .

" I need to find West city map in this hundreds of map .Great !"

He started to browse them with alphabetical order . Thankfully a window was situated upwards which lights were coming some windows which made his work easy .

He was busy browsing and finally after some time he found it

" Who the hell made this tired some rules this is so pain to find it "

When he was about to look at the west city map . Suddenly-

A shadow passed at the window which made the room dark for a minute . At the same time winter became alert he kept the book in his inventory and equipped the sword while scanning his surroundings .

If the shadow didn't cover the light he couldn't even notice this 'thing' . This made him held his breadth in anxious cause the level of the target should be above his since he couldn't locate it's position.

He didn't move but observed his surroundings figuring out any possible moment of the Target .

He suddenly looked up in frown .

A yellow eyes !

A cold and cruel looking eyes !

He stepped back unconsciously in caution .

'was it human ? Zombie? Creatures? '

Until he saw the 'thing' step out did he saw what if was ....

Who the f#k told that pigeon was cute and small ?

A dark black with grey colour pigeon of human adult size with red broken wings was looking at him coldly . Its beak was sharp and could easily swallow a fat sheep . It had blood and broken wings on its back which looks like it's injured but it was now looking at him coldly .

He looked at the data shown on top of its head and his face showed variety of emotions.

Seeing it's stats he knew that he couldn't run since it can fly even through its wings had injured . Seeing the Mutant bird health he made up his mind and slashed at it suddenly without any suspence .

The mutant bird immediately dodged but still with injured stats it was weak now and it's reflex were too late which resulted a bloody slash at its leg .

This small injury made it more crazier it slammed its beak at winter .

He clumsily rolled across the ground but his shoulder was hit by a shelf which made him slow down for a moment . At the same time the mutant bird pounced at him without any defensive measure .

Winter didn't panic but instead he held his sword vertically so that he could give a lethal strike and prayed that he won't die that easily as he could on for a moment .

both were mutually wounded and the mutant beast situation got worse so did winter right arm got Fractured but he didn't try to relax or groan in pain but kicked at the beast with his left leg .

The beast was pushed back but his legs gone numb now which made him difficult to dodge if he gets attacked again .

Seeing the MUTANT BIRD closing on him he immediately casted his skill which he brought on the shop yesterday.

A fast sword slash was executed at the Mutant bird neck which it couldn't react in time . The white thin slash horizontally left a deep mark on its neck enough to see the bones but due to its strong vitality it didn't die but viciously bite at him with all of its strength .

This was not over !

Another sword slashed at its neck which ended the mutant bird life and severed its neck .

When he was feeling happy a burst of dizziness soon overwhelmed him and he couldn't help but smile .

After few seconds his Fractured hand almost healed and his numb leg was back to normal while his stamina also reached to the peak . He could now solo 10 zombies without effort now if he didn't get ganged up .

He took out the city map book and started searching for his target .
